Isaiah is a great addition to the funk community, not only for his roots in Minneapolis funk, but for his futuristic concepts and vision for funk music's progression. Isaiah has everything an emerging artist needs: style, creativity, looks, and personality. Isaiah's work with Jason Dodson in their "New Funk Revolution Productions" has brought about some great streamlined funk, such as Isaiah's New Funk Order release titled "Nothing's Alright (If It Ain't In Line)", and Flashpointe's "Sexy Sunglasses". In recent years, Isaiah's creativity has accelerated to new levels, and he has released such jams as "Night of the Club" which is featured on New Funk Order Project 2, and a new jam featured on Soundclick.com called "Elastic Luvin'".

The New Funk Revolution has begun.

Your stuff becomes more and more avant garde artistic stuff, and I like it. It's a challenge to listen to - but because of the tempo changes, the samples, etc. I continue to urge you to keep going in this direction! I like this stuff for the risks you're taking, if that makes sense.

You are a true artist.

The Beat Goes On
Saw where PaisleyPark4 said he spends most his time coming up with unique drum beats.

And then, I go and listen to Prince.

He uses the same beat on AT LEAST the following songs - see if you can name more:

Head
Erotic City
DMSR
1+1+1=3
Billyjackbitch

You know the beat - you're bread and butter funk beat - boom-pop-boom-boom-pop. repeat.

Ain't nothing WRONG with that beat. You oughtta pick it up and go for it.

you do get better with each production, Isaiah. I really like how your stuff is over the edge of futuristic. Your sound is way ahead of it's time, Isaiah.

Good work!
