More Or Less - Or More?
Or More? I don’t know if I’m the right person to be answering this question as I have no prior knowledge of Saskatoon's More Or Less. What I have learned from their new EP is that if you don't know about them yet, you will soon enough.

More or Less play starcore music with broken glass shards of screaming, sugary but lethal lyrics, poppy riffs, twinkling keys, with some punk undertones. The songwriting is well crafted and works really well, the opener ‘Just So You Know’ shakes off the dust with a nice keyboard intro, ‘A Simple Thought’ exposes the anger through the howling “I have wasted my whole life on things that are better left unsaid/I have wasted my whole life on things that I’m learning to regret”.

The highlight of the EP for me is the next two songs ‘The Darkest Line’ shows the strength of these youngsters, hard breaking riffs lead this song with the vocals coming a close second, and the keys once again add an understated element. ‘As Inseparable as Two Positively Charged Ions’ is a poppy love song/breakup song; it depends if you’re the writer or the inspiration, the addition of a violin is a nice touch.

So to answer their question I would definitely say yes. This band is young, talented and only just starting to make a name for themselves, pick this EP up at their next show if you can find them through the hordes of screaming girls (these boys are the next heart-throbs) – you shant regret it.
