Oooh, this is quite nice. Think of Tori Amos but instead of the semi-hysterical singing, imagine someone with a nice mellow, beautiful voice, playing piano and nothing else, and imagine a metaaaa-aaaa-aaalll fan enjoying it.
I can’t really add anything to the review other than that I’m afraid, although I’ll be the first to admit that doesn’t do her any justice whatsoever.
Other than to say [hey Matty Newsum, you’ll like this part] Scott Thompson eat your heart out.

We hear a few 'Alanis' inflections in Cassie's voice here, perhaps just in this particular song? She sure is expressive in her melodies in the most honest and pleasing way, and wonderfully doesn't hold back in her emotional portrayal at all. Our only suggestion would be on the production. Cassie's voice has huge potential, (a rarity in today's over-effected commercial productions), as does her piano skills, and we believe a little push on the production front would let Cassie's voice shine through and portray her beautiful songwriting and vocal talents, which one could never ignore!
Piano Degree Music - This piece has many themes woven throughout. You craft some beautiful melodies, Cassie. Waytogo!

Shifting gears a bit I'm on Piano Degree Music which is well composed and again very real in it's delivery. A tone poem from the keyboard I really like the melody as it unfolds from the progression carried on the left hand. The vocals are ethereal and follow the tidal arppegios as well as counter point to the brilliant right hand melody. Lovely stuff, thanks so much for sharing it

"The wind is calling me"
With a smooth haunting melodic piano and words from her diary! She pours out her soul to you in a song so pure of heart it is magic.
Everyone at Funenders believes that you don't need a billion dollar record company to make good music. In fact I've listened to tons great music created in a low budget situation. The strength of the music's melody, what it is saying and the intensity of the artist cuts threw and touches you deep within.
Something the corporate goons manage to cut out and kill in most songs that the record companies cram down peoples throat. This is why I search for something fresh something that is moving and has the expression of life in it.
With the Marlena Dietrich hair in her eyes I see someone peaking out at the world. I feel we've been friends in a different time and a different place. "There's something in the Way" she sings that haunts my soul "Fragile little girl". "Wipe the tear" from your eye I will not let you drown "In the Pool". "The Wind is Calling Me", but I will return with my heart on my sleeve to Let you out and take you home. Their is magic you must believe.
