Dark Black Review
PANZER DIVISION's first release on the DarkBlack label, From Normandy And Beyond, is a monumental volume of uncompromising industrial blitzkrieg. Over one hour's worth of brutal digital noise has been culled from PANZER DIVISION's previous releases, Projected Kill Ratio, Death Chamber and Sturmgeschutz.

PANZER DIVISION adheres quite closely to the more traditional forms of industrial / electronic / experimental, combining 'found' sounds with synth and beatbox to create pieces which oscillate between aural pleasure and pain.

PANZER DIVISION's seeming obsession with WWII and Nazism is interesting insofar as it seems to be very much journalistic in nature and renders no judgement in the matter. Whether or not PANZER DIVISION has any specific political agenda is unknown to us -- nor is it particularly relevant.

What is relevant is the fact that PANZER DIVISION produces some very fine industrial / electronic music without regard for commercial considerations.

"War"
"War" would be the easiest way to describe the concepts expressed and noises projected by Panzer Division. And although that description fits it well, there is much more to say. The sound created by Panzer Division is an experimental one that depicts the ideas of politics, family, hate, society and destiny. Some might call it Industrial or Experimental, but I still feel that the most accurate way to describe it is "war".

Panzer Division's fourth album, "Projected Kill Ratio", has just been released. It is available for purchase along with other items through the Official Panzer Division website. Three previous albums, 'Ready To Die', 'Solace' and 'Warsaw Pact' are all available through mp3.com/Panzer_Division/.
