Genre: Hardcore Rap

The reason why I decided to start asking for people to let me review their songs is for this reason right here. Although the song is not of my personal taste and frankly I would not listen to hardcore rap (only because I'm a lova, not a fighter), I felt gravitated to the concept of this song, and to the artist known as Mak Nikova.

Instrumental wise, it's classic down south rythms thriving from the bass of that deep kick. It will punch a hole through your heart and I liked it. I got the inkling that Ray Charles' "Hit The Road Jack" sample was in use (because I used the same one for a beat of mines), but I am not sure. But the track is hot. The fade in and out of the instruments and the feel of the track is dark and grimey. If I was getting ready for war, I would throw this in the player and keep it on repeat.

Subject matter is good. You gotta address the haters eventually, and I like how they came at them in this one. Some of the lyrics, I have a problem with, and this is mostly personal. I just can't accept a female being called a hoe, even if she is or acts like one. Just my personal opinions though. Overall it is a solid performance by Mac Nikova and his featured guests. I can tell from their vocals, they got a pretty good recording situation going, and only need a small amount of help on the mixing, which is all good, for now. Overall, the song, for the genre it's in....fits. I really can't take nothing from it or add anything to it. I just want to encourage Mak Nikova and his crew to stay consistent and to keep, keeping it real. Much love....PEACE!!!
