ARGH! Man, you scare the crap out of me. Listening to your tracks reminds of the time I hid behind the sofa during "The Shining" as a kid. It changes up a gear with that high pitched synth - ....ing brilliant. That is so good i almost forgot there was anything else going on! Faultless production and endless inventiveness. It's grand :)

ust checked it and it's just awesoome. Just like all your other tracks man. Definatly dark and gothy. The melody is very powerful even in it's light tone. I wanna say epic, but it's not thick enough for that, in my opinion. Maybe angelic would be a better term. I swear your a master of your trade, when it comes to FX. Props on this ooz. Another great one.

Oozish my friend..u to me have been one of the most impressive artists around this site..ur music is always meaningful and produced to an absolute tee. You know exactly what sounds good and how to make something sound good. The way you change your atmosphere is somethin else man..im sittin' here scared to ....in death man..industrial evil..then that drop into the second sectionof the track is unreal. That melody..(high warpy one) plays a fuckin wicked melody..eerie to buggery! Snare drum aint half got some snap on it man..sounds crystalised. I like the pads that make the track lighter..give it an uplifting vibe, but there is always an element of darkness there which I really like. I do think that tis track is special mate..B R A I N was the B O L L O X too ;), peace.

After the Dragon
here is a certain sound that is unmistakably Oozish. Its deep, rich and psychadelic, or even hallucigenic. This track is audio lsd of a very high order. I loved listening to FSOL at uni and this tranports me to those special places just as well. Nice work.

After the Dragon
Really like the tension that comes in around 2 mins, definitely enough mystery and light and shade to make this fascinating to listen to, its great how the mood changes. Whereas many another artists would have stuck with the intro theme you raise it to another level. Quality- but thats what I expect from you....
Hugely atmospheric in every sense.

The Dream
this is a dark ambient piece....the opening is quite scary, almost industrial sounding in parts...perfect soundtrack material. The background pads create a real dark ambience like i've said and i love the sort of gentle washes that come over it every now and then. The percussion gives it the real soundtrack quality, it's beating real slow but building also, you can sense a finale of sorts building or an epiphany even. the vocals when they come in are real strange, give it real menace.....very cool track.

Okay, first I thought alright, Oozish is going back, doing some nice ambient sounds again. Yet, that impression didn't last long. The tune really goes mad at about 2:30 when the heavy drums come in and that really weird vocal thing that kills the rest of the noise. How crazy all this sounds! What an amazing mix of elements. You have some didgeridoo and on the otherhand this crazy filtered basslines and all this dark fx. What a combination of sounds! I'd hardly be able to imagine something like this work so good? But it works really amazing. Knocked me off my chair. I'd say the work of genius!!

The Unseen
The opening is totally brutal.. It's like havin your head searched with a blunt instrument.
Every Oozish track you open has something that scares the feck out of you. This is definitely NO exception.
It is one full on assault on all of your sensory management systems. After I had listened to this I could only liken it to be grabbed suddenly by something that had massive brute strength but its form could not be made out. And then I felt like I was dragged fast and hard through some nightmarish jungle. The imagary portrayed by this piece is awesome in the extreme...
The man and his musical extensions certainly knows how to capture the attention of the listener and once your hooked be prepared for a wild ride.

The Lomax
I think you know how important drums are to me. This song delivers on that better than any other song you have done. Not only is the sound quality of them almost perfect, but the arrangement and construction of the patterns are awesome. It really makes the song move along at a good pace.
The high pitched and high end synth melody is very cool. This is now my favorite oozish song, surpassing even the excellent Oozen.

DREADNAUGHT
Unchecked, fury of speed, predatorially rampant the rage of the dreadnaught could see no barriers to its all consuming path. The heat of its furious passage leaves shattering melted images that still burn helpelssly unchecked. This piece is a real blast against listening mind.. it trully brings across the feeling of a totally unstoppable force..

I Have Powers
I know when I'm gonna listen to another oozish track I will find another huge swathe of musical colour drawn from his amazing pallette of sounds.
Once again I'm drawn in to his slightly uncomfortable musical world .. This is an edgy piece, which gives you one of those feelings that you are in one of those type of scenes where you feel as if you are fast forwarding through a circuit maze..
Excellent

Wow, what an intro...Excellent! You guys have really found something with each other...I think this is a marvelous piece...Alexis, it sounds like your having a good time man! Spectral Grey
Like all the best music, this has something indefinable about it. I'm really enjoying listening. The pacing is awesome. Really high quality, continually fascinating. I dont want to analyse this too much, it doesnt need it- but I love the moody intro and the quality doesnt drop from there- evocative, compex, melodic- a great track and one I am definitely going to listen to many times! Starting with my second play now...
I have to agree with Valvegod, very different from what I normally think of as Oozish but definitely among your best (POSSIBLY even my favourite)- and that puts it up against some tough competition. Awesome stuff.

The Ring
The Ring is some twisted darkstep drum and bass. It shows how deep Reason is. This should be included in the demo songs for 3. ;)
Awesome Track.

Poetry from Metricks
The blossom creativity of Oozish, is presented at this track like an harvest ritual, where the collected seeds, produced a liquid substrate of compassed industrial beat, is mixed up in an infusion of strangeweeds, and then boiled like a sacred liquor, that warriors drink before their faith, destiny Saga, making them ready to siege the walls of believe.
Dark memories echoes, strange voices and hexagons of paradigms, are the horns to the ride that faces no resistance, in a minimal marking steps of support. The peaceful surrender of the brain receptors, without need for aggression... and with no guardians enough awaken, our brain is assaulted.
The weapons and fire power of Oozish are sophisticated, layerfeeded, machined resort of industrial concepts, easy in the approach, with fluffy steps of hard confidence, and then without no shots fired, like a specialist, sneaking along the neuronal labyrinth, submitting an easy code, re-entering the core password of perception.
Oozish "Brain" conception is solid quality industrial in this mind fairy tale.

The Electro Magnetic Effect
Got me catched right right from the beginning. The bashes and sounds come along with lots of energy. The tune is very UK club- jungle style. The dizzy drumloops make that. Immense flow in there. Variations come and go, breaks are very well placed, hooks and vocals timed precisely. Wow, I think nobody listening to this can escape from the tension this one transports. Overwhelming mix. Limitited to the top. Bass kicks as hell, crystal clear sounds. No distortion, not even a tiny bit. So much well chosen sounds. I especially like those tablas, even though you can hear them very often recently.
My absolute favourite from you. (no really!) I really enjoy the style you're going into currently!
Because I can't my keep my mouth shut (but you know...hahaha ):
I'd even loved the tune to be harder. Some distorted lfo bass and stuff (that would have made the UK style complete). Anyway, the tune IS definitely finished. If it were mine I wouldn't change anything.

Ire of the Ooze
reverberating thoughts to begin...
...floating, twirling, to find structure together.
Some voice to bring us back down, organic again.
Then, like all things, the perfect harmony is disturbed,
but returns stronger, with a grudge to bear,
peaceful still, however...
The ooze is antagonized, gaining momentum,
fluid still, but rising acidity,
machines,
surprise,
stepping closer,
the shadow whirls overhead suddenly,
with a pounding thud
bring us to knees amidst a shower of dust and debris,
overpowering, with never a doubt of its superior strength,
we simply give in,
more of necessitythan decision,
and at once, seemingly,
we are one with the ooze once again.

Message Board Thoughts
There are a lot of electronic bands, and a lot of good ones too, for with the kind of tools available nowadays, it's possible. But there is one band that stands out in my mind, and that's Oozish. I've been listening for a while now, and every new piece created has brought an incredible probe into the darkness of the universe, not the one we see when we look at the stars, but the one that we don't see, the one that's within the mind. This to me is talent beyond the scale. The newest, "Zone", is yet another example of what I'm talking about.
Thank you Oozish for another masterpiece.

THE HAND IS SACRED
There is a lot going on in this track and it goes on at a lot of levels. On the rhythmic level it is solid with sharp crisp accents that just rock you to the root of your soul. Down there, in that root chakra, is also the bass which is just whicked, sinful in it's seductive swings back and forth. Up and down. This is very adult stuff, it's so sexy. I love this aspect of Oozish's music. He's not afraid to go there, where there is anywhere you might think of. The almost whispered vocal track sounds like your overhearing something you shouldn't which is both exciting and sinister. There is alwas an edge in Oozish's music. He like to find that edge and dance with abandon. It is the edge of chaos, the border between worlds and he proudly displays his ownership of that edge in this one.

ORIGIN
Right from the start it's great. Down in that long room where a single didge is making a furious dark tone that is driving through your head like some ancient alien space ship. The distorted vibes and the samples combined with this classic down percussions and the puristic electronic beats and that saw tooth synth surely make an catching mixture. And you get thrown out of this athmosphere when suddenly a beautiful pan flute and some pads come into. Like the sun is suddenly rising, but it's not over. It's not the sun it is a blood red threatening moon. The ghost comes back blowing his deep voice. Warriors are playing their drums. Their yells can be heard all over the rocky terrain under the cloudy sky. Wah what is this? A new force is approaching. Much stronger than before and somewhere from below. The different drums that seam to consist of filtered white noize sound really cool. And the battle is suddenly over.
Wow, you see, lots of images form inside my head while I'm listening. An epic travel. This song really sounds like the origin of the world. Great work! I think I'll have to listen to again. But the hell of a good track. Amazing. My greatest respect

Review of Giant Gates of Morgoth
"At the Giant Gates of Morgoth" Ambient OOZish at his OOZYISH. I find this song of oozish a step out of line for the rest of the page. I seem to lean towards the darker side of the line. This ambient piece is more of an epic musical story changing faces many time and moods many times this 7 minute 41 second piece tells a story and takes you on a journey. The eerie sounds, subtle transitions, ambling movement seems to tell many tales.
OOZISH kind of lives in a fantasy world in the words from his page
" Only the bravest adventurers dared to visit the dreaded City of Morgoth...those who did could see the giant gates first, through the perpetual green mists that surrounded the city. The walls of Morgoth have existed for as long as anyone can remember--they are inscribed with glowing, magical runes for protection and for repelling the undead. The walls stand well over 100' tall, their original purpose shrouded in mystery...Nothing is more intimidating than standing at the giant gates of Morgoth."
This is a good thing.
The almost sound track quality of this Ambient piece is very different than the Industrial Electronic, Hard Dance, Game Soundtracks, Intelligent Techno, Industrial Metal, Electronica, Psytrance, Noise and Abstract styles on the page. OOZISH does them all well, but for what ever reason this one really caught my ear and sucked me in. Maybe it was the transcendental journey to the giant gates of Morgoth that intrigued me. Any way check this out OOZISH will work his magic on you.

OOZISH IS BLOGGED
Despite the awkward sounding name and a goofy looking logo (IMHO), I'm really digging on OOZISH. It must be my recent hang outs with John & Sara that have inspired this. They've been listening to some really juicy sounding electronica. Stuff that bridges your typical electronica sounds to some of the head trippy Butthole Surfers sounds that I enjoy the hell out of (in moderation).
To get a better appreciation and find some new music on my own, I look up MP3.com Electronic Industrial charts and play a good chunk of the current roster. The artist that stuck out the most for me was OOZISH. Take a listen for yourself. This stuff is creepy, speed happy beats. My research tells me that this stuff is made in Austin, Texas (home of my beloved Butthole Surfers). In one interview, OOZISH claims that his beats are made with, "crippled frogs, a pack of strings, a glowing blue beast, and a sprinkle of that ole oozish magic." I think he forgot the "lots of coffee" he mentions on his MP3.com Artist Info page. Nonetheless, I like the creepy guy.

Your last track was just huge man. Can't believe how dark and moving it is. It's like a wall of sound coming at me. Really enjoy that one and I think you really capture Valvegod's spirit and let it come through in what is definately Oozish artistic expression. Man, that thing affected me I swear. I couldn't flippin' talk for an hour after the first listen. Just point and click
