Well, you're something else, I can tell ya - Amazing stuff you do. U got style lady and nobody can take that away from. I was and am not very fond of disco but this is not disco this is DISCO - Damn you
Your voice interpretation is nothing but spectacular - you know what you want to get out of a track and you just go and grab it - amazing stuff. Your acting experience helps you a lot vocally, I feel. One is always capable of more dramatic and effective twists that way. Well done
Regarding your sound - I can only tell you one thing - There's always room for improvement in a track. It's one of those never-ending sagas. So you gotta draw the line somewhere otherwise you'll be at it for ever and a day. You have a very distinctive sound in what you do and your voice - as far as I'm concerned - it is just the way it is supposed to be. More ketchup or mayo - salt or pepper is a matter of individual taste.
If you were to work with different people you would get different results and the one you should go for is always the one that ultimately convinces you.
I played every single track of yours and it was a great ride all the way thru. The only one thing I would probably agree with you is that the voice in "My Circle of Friends" probably needs a bit of work but then again, it's just a personal opinion and nothing you couldn't fix if you felt that need.
Sometimes it could be simply that on a particular day your voice is just registering that way, or an inch closer or further away from the mike - zillions of possibilities - so if you're not happy with it yourself try EQing it differently playing around with the Low Mid and Higher frequencies and see what sounds right to you( I am not an expert, mind you - but it's just a suggestion. I'm sure others more versed in these matters can give you a more in-depth analysis).
Anyway, to cut a long story short I think you're very talented and it was a pleasure listening to your stuff.
All the best,
Carlos Wilde

Clearly this is mixed not for a home stereo but for a club system. But there does seem to be a lot of breakup, especially in the beginning. Maybe encoding or sample matching side effects? For a dance house piece it's effective. The vocals are good, the music is standard fare and has the appropriate changes while maintaining the mandatory repetitive groove. Aside from the audio breakup it's a good sound. I have an urge to buy a convertible t-bird.- Tim Daniel
