On the surface this is a fairly orthodox drum & bass track. Its inventive both sonically and musically, with sounds and musical movements that combine together to create an expansive soundscape.
The reverbed piano and the treated vocal samples are of particular note, but the core sounds such as the echoey horn and spacious filtered pads are also ear catching.
The best sections are actually when the beat drops out. It would be good to hear more 'emptiness' and a more inventive rhythmic approach to compliment the music
