I grew up in the country...this song is beautiful. I can always tell, when listening to a song whether or not the performers actually believe in what they are singing and playing......you do. "Sodapop and creekbed rocks, are how we spent our days" is a great country lyric. If Alan Jackson heard this song he'd be all over it. Thanks for letting me listen

I really like the concept of this song. The main part of the chorus lyrics don't make a lot of sense, but I wouldn't change them (some of the best songs have choruses that make no sense but are fantastic). It does paint a picture, but everyone has to decide what it means for themselves....
