Ever wondered what mid period Pink Floyd would have sounded like if you added in some Badfinger harmonies and a Jefferson Airplane cover version? The above should have had you clicking on the link …..for this is an absolutely delightful mini album, chock full of Caravan type melodies, fluid guitars and adventurous songwriting, all without straying too far from a mid seventies vibe. They rattle through six tracks in 20 minutes, each one a pearl, worth repeated plays. Opener, "Lonely Fool" is probably the shiniest of them all, all Blind Dog at St Dunstans mixed with the Electric Light Orchestra, absolutely fabulous. There is no excuse for not buying this …

Symphony in Demeanor gives psychedelic rock with lots of Jeff Lynne-type production and a smidgen of Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon" influence. Picture Jeff Lynne's work on the Beatles (or rather 'Threetles') 1995 "reunion" tracks ("Free as a Bird" and "Real Love"). There are 5 original songs, along with a great cover of "White Rabbit", complete with backwards guitar. In fact, the cover of this Jefferson Airplane classic is my favorite thing on this disc, great arrangement….. if you like psychedelic rock you will really dig this CD. Symphony in Demeanor reminds me of an updated Klaatu and that's not a bad thing!

Symphony in DeMeanor, are without doubt, one of the best and most musically accomplished bands EVER to have come out of Canada.. correction... North America! Their debut CD 'Symphony in DeMeanor' contains only six tracks, which is a crime, but those six tracks are among the best written, composed, performed, and produced tracks that I have ever heard in my life! And, like a lot of artists who produce brilliant music, they don't appear to realize quite what they have done! Their music is very Beatles, very ELO, very Queen, and very very Symphony in DeMeanor... George Martin would be walking on air had he produced this album and as he didn't, Symphony in DeMeanor surely must be!

Better then The Beatles!
This is without a doubt, the best track I have ever heard on garageband! If the Beatles were still alive and making music, they would be number 2 in the charts, right behind you guys! The drums are awesome, the guitars are superb, the keyboards are played by somebody with magic fingers and the vocals are sublime!! Congratulations on making such a wonderful song, you've made my day.

Symphony in DeMeanor
Following up on their first hit 'Lonely Fool', Symphony in DeMeanor has added two new tracks, 'Farewell Marissa' and 'Crazy Man' to their playlist. Both tracks hold true to the sound that has grabbed everyone's attention - with hints and echoes of the Beatles, the Move, E.L.O., the Traveling Wilburys, Queen and Tom Petty, this Vancouver, B.C. group has resurrected a pop style and given it a shiny new face, highlighted by creative composition, excellent musicianship, great vocals and quality production. 'Farewell Marissa' is a sad song about the pain and confusion of loss. The vocals are a major feature of this track - the tight harmonies are just great. 'Crazy Man' seems to talk about the struggle we all have between who we see ourselves as and who other people see. The guitar work in this track is certainly a noteworthy feature throughout....

Symphony in DeMeanor - Reviewed
Symphony in DeMeanor is a guitar/keyboard based band playing beautifully crafted melancholic pop/soft rock songs influenced by The Beatles, Beach Boys and the 70s. Their tracks are thoughtful, crafted, and melodically inventive with cool arrangements and delightful harmonies. Musically and lyrically worldly wise their music also paradoxically conjures up a feeling of childlike innocence and wonder. Try the delightful lost 60s hit "Lonely Fool" or the super-melodic "Crazy Man" with its beautiful haunting chorus. Great band…
