To be honest, after ten seconds I was convinced I was going to flame you into oblivion: going from a somewhat classical soundscape to proper trance is not an easy task and I've seen enough people go flat on their face trying to do so. And as I don't particularly like Trance in general, and hate pretentious trance in particular, I was quite looking forward to flaming the crap out of you.

Unfortunately for me you didn't fell on your face, in fact the song kept interesting and fresh all the time. The composition is solid: you settle a main theme and return to it often enough not to alienate anyone yet keep adding new and different parts at every turn. I'm quite sure that over here this track might even be a bit too 'alternative' to really be a hit with the trance crowd, but I don't care about that.

Production-wise you are absolutely in control. The strings sound full and passionate, the synths demanding and with strength. I have to say that the strings that come in at 0:40 sound a bit less powerfull then I'd want them to be, they sound a tad too 'floating' for my taste and could do with some extra balls. For the rest the production is excellent, even though you say you're not fully happy yourself.

Coolness: I don't like trance. I don't like trance people pretending to know about classical instruments and dragging in stringed instruments for no good reason. I'm going to add your song to my station. Need I say more?

Summary: Somewhat alternative trance of, IMHO, professional quality. I'm not sure how old you are or how long you've been going, but you're on the right track no matter what. Two thumbs way up.
