INDIENS UP AND COMING - RELEASES FIRST CD

Make em Dance is the hot new tune you are listening to.

INDIENS is three artists Arohed, Jerm, and Kayo who are both Native American and Haitian-"Lakota Haitian". Dropping this particular style of hip hop created by Natives-"Native Hop" to represent who we are-"Indiens" and where we're from(Denver/Pine Ridge/Haiti).

Indiens is three artists- Jerm, Arohed, and Kayo. Arohed is a rapper/producer and Kayo is a singer/rapper. We have performed all over Denver as well as in Rapid City, SD. In Denver at: Auraria Campus,Aurora Black Arts Fest(2006 and 2007), The White House, Herman's Hideaway, Bruno's Saloon, Wyatts Torch, Cervantes, The Roxy, Bushwackers Saloon and in Rapid City at the 2006 Black Hills Pow Wow.

We are set to release two CD's right now: "TRIBAL" a solo album from Jerm is set for release 01/30/08 and the sophomore release from Indiens is currently in the works and set for release by March 2008.

Listening to their beat, song and music, you can't resist moving your body in beat with the music; nodding your head in agreement of the feeling of the words and beat and what Indiens expresses so clearly in every tune they play.

Jerm, Arohed and Kayo are very talented musicians and singer/rappers. I may be old to someone of their age ("grins") but I can still feel that beat, move my feet and know when I am listening to something that is GOOOOD!!!!

Visit their website Indien Hustle, listen to some more of their music and I know you'll just have to make "TRIBAL" yours.

Indiens-Rapping about life from a different perspective
The Indiens, a hip-hop trio hailing from Colorado, have
been gearing up to make a splash in the music scene.
With their diverse background (all three are siblings
hailing from the Lakota and Haitian cultures) and their
goal of providing a positive voice for Native American
youth, they have created a unique niche in the musical
landscape of the Southwest.
We want our audience to hear something new, says
rapper Arohed. We want to pass on real knowledge; its
not your average hip-hop. We were raised to be soldiers
and we want to pass that strength on to Indian youth.쳌
With the release of their second album this May titled Indian Gun쳌 and a slew of upcoming talent shows and
festivals, The Indiens hope to make 2007 a successful
year full of great beats, newfound energy and a positive
message that reaches the masses.
We're sending out a war cry, says rapper J Frank.
Nothing violent we just want to get Native
peoples hyped up, to stand up and feel good, and
represent the struggle.
