Dream Sounds
Serge N achieves a warm and inviting contemporary pop gem here with the CD named after the title track "From Dream to Dream". Weaving spatial magic, lilting Euro-pop melody and his own distinctly tender voice, Serge creates a mood that is winning and upbeat while honestly melancholy. His rhythms are diverse, his arrangements tasteful and creative, with a very clean pop sensibility displaying a mature understanding of song construction and hook. His melodies draw deeply from Eastern European folk tradition while encoded in bright, contemporary production values. Serge is an accomplished writer and performer who shines on From Dream to Dream.

From Dream to Dream
I must have played this four times
over the course of the day. There is something very soothing about it.

It is not a style I usually listen to, but I like this. I like the subtle electric guitar in the background.
The style makes a clever transition from an almost Disney feel to a more modern approach, with some effective harmonies.

From Dream to Dream
Serge N. is really a great Pop songwriter... he writes very nice songs, those that people in love would like to dance cheek to cheek, whispering soft words...

Really romantic! The arrangement is very pleasant, a song in the late sixties style, that I know very well...

Times changed, but love is never out of date...

I Still Love You
Nice funky intro, I dig. I'm loving the bass. This sounds 80's or possibly 70's, which is good, by my standards. I love songs from both those eras. The vocals and music are both catchy, this is the kind of song that will get stuck in my head after hearing it. The kind of song that I start to randomly sing along to the chorus halfway into the song and hum the very catchy instrumental tune. The singer has good diction, and the song has an excellent flow. I absolutely love it! :)

From Dream to Dream
In the pop culture of today, where 70's songs are remade and the appropriate amount of bubble gum added, it's nice to hear a song that truly reminds me of the decade where we all lost our innocence.

The song starts out with some simple music, and then some pure vocals start in. First off, I like the effects on the vocals, very dream like. And the harmonies in the chorus is really great! The shaker in the percussion is also a great treat too....adds a touch of authenticity.

There is a touch of Floyd to this I think, without some of Floyd's darkness. This song would be good as part of a rock opera similar to Jesus Christ Superstar or The Wall, kind of an interlude of sorts. It is well produced and well written. It is 70's-ish, but to people who love to the 70's, it's a welcome breath of fresh air.
