what a track!!!! I think you have actually, and totally managed to pick up where plaid left off after double figure. which is massive gauntlet to have run but.... omg... you've done it! you legend!! at roughly 1:50 you can hear my jaw dropping at the immense satisfaction i got when that glitchy beat was dropped. lovely build up - had got me just to the point where i thought... hmmm maybe this is more scaled down and minimal then whooosh! like being on some sort of rollercoaster. i really enjoyed it and it left me smiling this albums gonna be immense!!!..... release it physical i would... cause i'd definately buy a copy of it if its gonna be like this!

Blipps review of " Full of earth and stars " album
The title track is one of my faves too, just beautiful.

Mouse, you've done it again, released an absolute corker of an album and i'm in total awe of your talent. You're a genius man, i mean it.

You're a total master at the art of melody and rhythm. It's hard pick out a standout track cause they're all standout tracks, but if i had to pick one then "full of earth and stars would be it". " Multi-Projection Distort" is also an instant classic. You definitely should have a record deal or there's no justice.

Wonderful.

Premonition

fantastic! like a japanese teppanyaki chef, you serve up some lightly peppered, chopped up drums and FX; finely sliced - with a delicious side of pads and synths to give the track a full-bodied flavor. Again great melodies. the synths that runs the track to it's end work perfectly as the outro.

another awesome track.

i'm totally in love with your music mouse, you're melodies always touch me in my bathing-suit area and your drums are great!

Mouse.

As always your stuff is top notch!!

You always mix the mellow with heavy and the new with the old yet balance the 2 perfectly. This to me sounds like oldskool chillout but bang up to date with the "yeah" vocal sample and the piano... but then you grime it up with those dirty dirty glitchy beats.

Your right in one thing when you say this is an epic....

Just bloody brilliant mate... fits what it was intended for...

fucking brilliant mate

When I first listened to Underworld (2nd Toughest album), I thought "wow, what a refreshing shift away from all the other electronica out there." A real signature sound.

I felt the same way when I heard this song (and some of your other songs, like the Binary Code song). I'm not trying to say you sound like Underworld, but rather, your music has a strong unique signature which is a welcome change from all the other electronica music trying to distinguish itself.

Very enjoyable!

Brian

Hi mouse,

This is indeed a freakin wonderful track. When you brought that pad in around 01:03 i thought i'd died and gone to heaven, awesome. This track confirms you as the greatest beat programmer on soundclick to my ears as every sound seem to have a purpose and was'nt there just for effect.

As for it beieng your best track; i was sceptical after the first half minute or so, but by the time it had finished i'd certainly say it was a strong candidate.

As always, superb work.

listening to Wrong Number. hmmmm I wonder if your really Richard d James under another new name. This track reminded me of songs off the Richard d James album by Aphex Twin. Your style of rhythm work is something I am trying to do at the moment, fast and glitchy, but everything I program beats like that I don't know what to put behind them, so I just end up automating a synth live to produce weird effects but it never really works out like I want it to. Have to work a little bit harder on the IDM side of my brain lol.

Wrong Number:

You must have a lot of time on your hands because this is awesome: the mother of all IDM. I am not exaggerating everything is completely ''en balance'', and you made a lot of progress the last couple of weeks, I believe. Beats are incredibly sophisticated, melody has a ''profound'' atmosphere, and
you managed to create your own style and your own sound. The moment the first beat hits off, there can be no doubt who their composer is! This high level of music creation is very inspiring!

Ohmus review at KVR
Last night I dreamt in binary code was a nice track. Got to listen to some of your other tracks and some where really really great.

Me and my big mouth: good song but the little hipitched sounds that make up large part of the rythm is amazing.

Blue eye , Black sheep , Dark Horse: Very "epic" song. Liked everything about it except the "tuut-drum" wich I thought should either have a much lower volume or be turned off more and only aperar in occasionally.

Odeur da femme d'ami & Selah: amazing tracks.

Haven't listened to all the tracks yet though, so I'll keep listning Smile...

Keep up the good work!

/Ohmu

Let me tell you mouse, you are on fire!!!!! Smile

Lots of greats stuff to listen to!

They are all very interesting, your music hold itself very well, there is a unity thru diversity, you have your sound, an it is very good. People would buy your records if you were signed. You should really send demos to labels. Smile

personnally I really enjoy what you are currently doing... after a little while your work really won my praise...., and BTW, you should give seminars on productivity you know???? I would like to watch how you work cause I might learn somethin..... Laughing ..keep those coming, you are amazing to watch.....

.Blipps review of " That 2nd MOUSE " ( album )
Hi mouse,

Just burnt your album and listened to it. Superb, absolutely superb. I can't really praise it enough. Some of the tracks remind me of Black Dog Productions before Plaid left and went their own way and that's about as big a compliment as i can give and that's very big btw.. Hearing your tracks in the context of an album makes them sound even better. only real criticism is the low bitrate which does'nt show the tracks at their best, because if they sound this good at 128 they're gonna sound awesome at full quality. You really should try and get this out at full quality with wavefiles and at the very least send it out as a demo. Awesome

Machine code
Hi mouse. Machine code is an apt title for this one for sure. If a cpu could speak i reckon it would sound something like this. Awesome drum programming, you must have incredible skill and patience to do this. i really enjoyed this as i like idm that stop-starts and twists and turns.

Guaranteed Consistence
Hey Mouse,

I'd agree with the above, you really do churn out good tracks everytime, If I could guarantee any artists to be conistant you and Blipp are up there.
I D/L'd 'Mantis' a bit back, just not had the time to comment.
I'm loving that glitch-hop feel to it, and that main [pad?] riff is pretty epic!
The changes keep the interest and that tougher ryhthm at the end is class!!
Nice one.

T.

Infectious !!
Great stuff mouse. You have a style and originality that i always find refreshing. Always experimenting, but remaining accessable at the same time. The beats stand out as outstanding as is usual with your tracks and the slow groove is infectious.
