I was born in Detroit, have lived and or worked from Buffalo,N.Y. to San Antonio TX. I love my music, this is the absolute truth! Everything from Atreyu and Otep, to ZZ Top and Lynryd Skynryd, the louder the better! But low and behold in my own backyard in the Big little city of Flotown among all the bands you can hear and see to your hearts content I find this gem called "Blackland". When my son heard them he thought he was listening to a new Metallica song, but then asked if it was Lynryd Skynyrd...Surprise, its the best of both, lol. Anyone that knows music, really knows music, knows that Muscle Shoals has been the recording capital for Good Ol Southern Rock N Roll. Groups from Bob Seger and Ted Nugget, to Lynryd Skynyrd have recorded here. The Shoals boasts some of the finest song writers to ever come along. But I'm wandering..."Blackland" is one of the best Southern Rock bands I've heard in while. No I don't personally know these guys so this isn't a shameless plug for the band, These Guys are Genuine Good Ol Southern Rock N Roll. No bull, no mascara and make-up pyro tech flashiness to make themselves look better, they rely on their sound and showmanship. If you happen to be in the Shoals ( yes there's a lot of history here ) and you want a good show, find where Blackland is playing and check'em out! Money !!!!
This song can make you guys some big bucks. I mean impeccable song like this is perfect. I'm not trying to be meticulous or anything but there are actually some flaws, ah yes what a paradox that I have just made. This song is perfect to market. I'm giving you guys a 5 star rating.

Hello People
It's an interesting fusion of rock-based styles. Seems I hear an unreleased Judas priest album of 80-s. All sounds good (including lead voice)I like such style, so wish you to grow higher!
Hoping we'll hear you in Russia soon!
Olegus.

Hailing from the music hotbed of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Messenger is a four-man band that packs a real punch. The CD begins with a good ol' Southern urban legend set to some heavy Southern rock guitars and drums. “Ghost of a Woman” is a great opener, and the rock keeps on coming. Guitarists Mark Pyle and Tim Pearl, bassist Max Williams and drummer Terry Oldham kick out the jams on “Too Long,” a kind of Metallica meets Skynyrd joint. In fact, there seems to be a good, healthy dose of Metallica interwoven into the very fabric of this heavy Southern ensemble. There’s even a killer Civil War song. “Brother vs. Brother” if you like it rockin’, Messenger has a little surprise for you.

My God...the south is rising again! This band is from the south but that ain't all. I got my ass kick so hard that I'm still looking around the office for it.
Mark (vocals & guitar) was kind and sent me a few rough tracks of the newest stuff from the album the band is working on in the band's studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. I'll kiss you ass if you don't see this band on tour with somebody big soon. This is one worth checking out! cleardaystudio.com or soundclick.com/blackland
