dawg, i listened to some more of your stuff. that new york remake with the nintendo synths was nuts. "7obak Waja3" was super-fire. i was freestylin' to this, and i don't usually do that to a beat unless i'm drunk.

Always can enjoy a nice remix. The drums work really nicely with the vocals. The synths sound cool, but it might make the song sound a little to happy. Overall, nice remix.

I dig the use of delay, I use it all the time, too. The melodies in here aren't so bad, either. That violin synchs so nicely with the piano and marimba synth. Once again, I have to wonder what you could do with some high-end samples. Good luck to you, and hope you decide to scrape together the cash to upgrade to some pro sound libraries.

lol The title name to this is GREAT!! Nice compostion work with the paino play. This is really nice. It reminds me of something but I dont know what. I like the musicbox sound that you put into it. Melody's fit in and connected well. This is something you can just sit back to and think about refreshing memory's . Great stuff, and nice track

this is solid stuff. the piano part is strong. the only complaint i can offer is the beat is repetitive. the other instruments do more than compensate for it though. the artificial strings aren't ideal, but who can hire a string section? now, the composition is AMAZING, incredibly heartfelt chords. wonderful piece of sweetness.

This is pretty nice , nice feel to it, and has a good melody on it. I like the harp melody in this . Drums are nice. Chorus is alright. This is a nice track, I'd like to hear some vocals on this to see how it would turn out . It would definitely be a great song Another nice track here. Nice work

Wow... the paino play on this song is so peaceful .This beat has such a great vibe to it. Wow, you added all the right sounds to this. The Drums match this track perfectly. You definitely pulled out the stops on this one. Great work. Its so serene and blistful . This one was Perfectly done. Its so relaxing to listen to . You can just imagine being on a tropical island enjoying fun in the sun or on a great vacation .I have no complaints on this one. And again, Really great work on this.

WOW! I was feelin' the intro. but I wasn't sure where it was leadin' up to. When that :28 second mark... DAYM! That melody is all over the place, panin' everywhere! This is by far, my favorite track that I've heard from you yet. The instruments are so electronic soundin', yet it's got that head-bangin' hip hop sound. I definately agree with Trans: 9/10! Madd props!

Drums on this was very nice, cool job with those dj scratchs on the chorus . I can feel the kicks of the drums vibrating my earphones . Great use of those guitar riffs. This one has potential to be a hip-hop/r&b beat minus some sounds. Good melody on this. Drums hats and Bass is what gives it that hip-hop feel on it. Good work

Those drums are NASTY!! I LoVe Em The verses on this are the hightlight of this track. Simple but nice, I like the soft subtle sounds that was put into the verses. Not too crazy over the chorus but it was good. lol I was watching a fighting scene on tv while listening to this, strangely it blended with the scene . This is another track I enjoyed listening to Nice work

YES! That's the type of bass drum I'm talkin' about! However, this one is a bit too mellow for me. Don't get me wrong, it's a good one to chill and listen to... Just as far as rappin' goes. Ya feel? The melody that busts in at the chorus is what I like best, besides that bass drum.

Damn, got a total control of harmony. That fluctu-fading choral synth is just too sweet. Captivating delayed piano, too, and that keeping in mind the dullest sound in the song! I'd love to hear some prose over this stuff.

My Sale/Lease Beats feedback (7)
Naramsin,
Firstly let me just say, "Khayya Ganokh", you are a truely talented artist and we're all very proud of you.
I quite enjoyed listening to those 14 beats, some of them were excellent, I ended up repeating those ones for a few times.
My favourites were:
Making Love in the Tepee
Jupiter Party (I felt though that the beats were a bit too loud and hence it wasn't easy to listen to the background music, which was very beautiful)
Workout
Dreaming Underwater
Forgive Me
You Gotta Big O Booty
Driving on the Highway
Arabian Adventure
An excellent effort overall, great work mate.
Please, once your album is released, I would be very garetful if you can let me/us know where I can buy it from, as I would be more than glad to support a talented Assyrian artist such as yourself.
Thanks

wassup nintendomaster, still owe you some critiques from a while ago hehe, jus haven't been around to peep anything on the net in a while...
listenin to the first one, powerful samples, but the drums don't match up to me... drums don't have the presence of the instrumentation and the overall mix is reaaaaally high. instrumentals definitely should not peak on their, before vocals are recorded and before the final masterin process after the track's been finished and mixed properly... other than that, this beat sounds nice, i do dig the clean, emotional instrumentation.. i jus wish the drums hit harder and came through clearer without necessarily bein louder. hope that feedback helps, best of luck w/ sellin these beats..

Confused Towards Life, Hullabaloo & A Melancholic Departure feedback (2)
Confused Toward Life - Holy crap...Yanni went gangsta! For real, though, this is tight. Makes me feel left behind in the melody composition department.
Hullabaloo - I like the drums on this track a bit better than on the first. I can definitely see a progression in your sequencing skills. Good work. The only thing that sort of throws me off is the "you think that was cool" sample...it's used well enough, I just don't really feel it. That's just me tho.
Melancholic Departure - The name really fits this track. Dunno really what to say that I haven't said already about the other two....good composition, decent drum sequencing...good song overall. Keep doin what you do, man.

Confused Towards Life, Hullabaloo & A Melancholic Departure feedback (1)
Listening as I type.....
Confused Toward Life: Wasn't sure what to expect when the vocal came in.....but WHOA!!! I'm feelin the big sound this one has....real nice strings, nice grimy kicks and drum rolls....The sound is really full....nice work.
Hullabaloo: Wow man.....I assume the vocals are helping the songs transition on the album? If so, great idea. This one has that same big, full sound. I like the epic feel of it, and my only negative criticism is that the vocals in the middle take away from the epic feel.....very solid.....I love the drums.
A Melancholic Departure: Nice strings in the intro. I assume you're playin these? Drums dropped different than I expected. This one doesn't have the same cohesive epic feel as the others....The drums throw that off for me....all the rest of the music is phenomenal. Not to say it isn't nice...it is.....it just didn't gel for me the way the first two did.
Overall man, I'm impressed.......I'm not a huge fan of this genre, but I could easily listen to this.....as far as I can tell, you're in a good spot between hiphop and the "electronic" genres.....
Nice. Lemme know when the album is out.

whats up NM, the instrumental for the I'm So Fly joint is kinda hot... not sure if it matches the vocals in timing or feel though... probably woulda been nicer as a beat with a different rapper on it... vocals are also really low...

i'm so fly remix
I like the drums on this, especially the snare fills at the end. They sound really crisp. Similar melodies and feel to it as usual...but the lloyd banks vocals are out of time, and also mixed too low. This would be better as an instrumental
naughty girl rmx
Good drums again. The melodies don't work with Beyonce's vocals though, the pitch / tune of the instrumental doesn't work with the singing.

1 - nice to hear you adding some bass. v similar to your other stuff in style.
2 - i like the faster tempo on this one. not so sure about the little squeaky sounds + blips, but i like the heavy guitars that come in every so often.
3 - not really into the melodies on this 1.

Travelers Beat 1, 2 & 3 feedback (1)
TB 1 - Nice synth in here. It has an ambient feel to it. The bass hit that drops every bar sounds really good. Everything is sick man. Im especially liking when you kill the other melodys and just let the pianos play in the beat. Nice.
TB 2 - I dont see the Game Over comparisson..but this is cool nonetheless. The heavy metal guitar that you drop in there is crazy. Honestly..I think this beat would be difficult to rap over. But I dunno...maybe your boys can rip it.
TB 3 - The drumming on this beat stands out more than the melodys I think. The strings that kick in the chorus are nice.
Nice stuff Naram. They are all good pieces of music..but Im feeling the Travellers Beat 1 the most.
Keep building mayne.

okay...
Mad vocal shit. like it though.
Can see why you said Crim would like this... this is a nice melodic feel.... better than the majority of what i've heard you do before... this is more of a "Hip Hop" beat than your usual style... quality.
for what it's worth... i think your growing everytime you make a beat. (as an artist i mean) decent.
only problem i have with this, is that some of the drums seem to be out of sequence with the rest of the track, maybe it's just me though.
I do like this man, keep doing what you do to the fullest Nin.

unlike the others...i'm not entirely sure about the vocal sample...not in the beginning anyway. sounds kinda, i dunno...weird. the beat itself is hot tho. i like the melody, as usual, and the drums are nice. keep it up man, it's always good to experiment.

haha! i like the chipmunks. this is a good beat, u kept it pretty simple, with a nice chilled melody, and a little extra on the chorus. the vocals are used very well.

LOL
You already know all the good things Ive told you about this beat. I couldnt stop complimenting you on what a nice job you did in our conversation on MSN messenger. This is easily one of my favorite beats from you man..those vocal samples just threw another whole element in the beat.
Keep building Tendo...Im always looking forward to hear new music from you.

UFB, Part 20 & 21 feedback (3)
20 - nice stuff. oh shit, i really like the drums on this one. the guitars are cool, maybe they could use more grit and be a bit rougher, but they are nicely played. the scratches are cool too. yea, but the drums are really banging.
21 - i pretty much agree with rock on this joint
--Mike Mora (Posted on Dec 26 2003, 01:09 AM)
UFB, Part 20 & 21 feedback (2)
i was feelin UFB 20... im just curious to hear what the drums would sound like with a little less reverb on them... cuz the melody and everything else was nice... like the guitar sound... and the strings as well...
but 22 is real nice... it's one of the most "spitable" beats i've heard from ya... the drums is knocking and the violin and piano is TIGHT... probably could use some bass somewhere... but it's maybe one of the best beats i've peeped of yours... definitely could work with it...

UFB, Part 20 & 21 feedback (1)
part 20 - i quite like the melody, just not too keen on the instruments used. i like the little scratches, and the drumwork is very good.
part 21 - this reminds me of something, can't quite put my finger on it. not bad, good drumwork again. the instruments still seem a bit over-electronic for my tastes, if u get me.

Oh...my....God...
This deserves a standing ovation. Being a producer and musician trained by classical music theory before any hip-hop etc. stuff- i can tell this is blooming with talent.
It's emotional and heartfelt and it doesn't even have WORDS!
BRAVO!!

good work. i was a bit apprehensive when it first started, but now it's got further into the track it's gotten interesting with all the different sounds and melodies, and you can really tell a lot of work went into this. have u ever seen a christmas-time animation called 'the snowman' ("i'm flying in the aiiiir..")?? i remember it from when i was younger, for some reason i could imagine parts of this song playing in the background! haha. very good work.
*edit* i forgot to say..an extra bonus in this one - NO VIDEOGAME SOUNDS!!

First of all...sorry to hear that things didnt work out with you and your girl. I know you really liked her man. But I hope you find someone else who wont do you dirty like that.
Now to this amazing composition: Wow man...wow. I heard a part of this song awhile back and it blew me away. The final version is solid man. I can feel the emotion you put into this and you didnt even have to drop vocals. Bottom line is, this song is amazing. Keep up the excellent work my friend.

Man this right here says a lot about you. This is fuckin' crazy, I'm open minded enough to listen to all kinda music and I can say that I enjoyed this piece from beggining to end. And if I read right you composed this yourself, which I have to give you much respect on. You got some talent in you boy, keep on exploring it to the fullest. I look forward to hearing more from you when I come back from my month long holiday.

I wish I coulda found Christmas melodies to sample, oh well, fuck it.
I like it, it's creative. Better than your other stuff in my opinion cause it doesn't have all those synths and straight off the cheap keyboard sounds you use on your melodies.

yeah i like that intro with the flange. drums sound sort of 1980s run dmc style, maybe its the snare? not keen on the computer sounding instruments again. maybe needs some bass too.

i like the drums, they sound good. the intro bit is decent too, and the strings (i think) in the background. i don't like the the main sound used on the melody...the video game sound that you always use in your tracks, it's not my thing. but suppose that's the style you're going for with 'nintendomaster' as a username.

nice drumwork. melody is alright, but i'm not too keen on the keyboard sounds. i do like the little notes that sound like sped-up choir singing or something. the melody doesn't change too often like in a lot of your songs which is good for a hip hop track.

not my kind of thing really, but the drumwork is good - it fits the sound you're going for. the early part of track sounds like it would be played in the background of a film where the characters are in saudi arabia, something like that.

And that yell effect type shit you got goin on in the background on the loop is dope to. nice drums, they've definitely improved from the early beats. i like this one, the melody is simpler than your usual, which makes the track a lot more catchy, and more like a hip hop beat. good use of the native-indian chanty thing.

as for the track itself...i can still tell it was done by you, man. lol. it's got Naramsin written all over it. the tom drum that you used...i probably would have chosen a different sound, but that's just me. this one works ok. nice melodies once again, and like i said earlier, i'm loving that singing thing. good job.

sounds like a video game track......
some of the stuff you did on it is interesting- use some delay on the snare and see what it does for you- check out afrika bambaata's planet rock for the specific delay style i'm talking about...... the snare in that song would help your version as well.

i like the drum pattern on this, good work. the melodies are ok, they sound best in the parts where less is going on within the track - these parts would be good for someone to rap over. not too keen on some parts with certain keyboard melodies like at around 2:43, it sounds a bit cheesy. overall, a nice mellow track.
--djcriminal (Posted on Jul 19 2003, 03:36 AM)
UFB, Part 11 feedback (3)
very good heavy drums, the kicks really do KICK and the snares hit hard. the first bit of the melody is ok, but the pitch changes too often - it sounds a bit random with the notes chosen. it has a spooky feel though. i don't like it when it gets all synthy at all....and by that i don't mean i don't like synths at all in hip hop, i mean the sounds used in this particular song.
--djcriminal (Posted on Aug 11 2003, 08:41 AM)
UFB, Part 11 feedback (2)
i was feelin the beginning. i aint feelin the part when the synths come in. the drums pattern is dope though to me. i like the stabs that come in, but i just aint feelin that specific synth sound. i like the dark feel to this. the second set of synths i aint feelin either. i like the melody you programmed though. nice track though.
--Mike Mora (Posted on Aug 10 2003, 10:19 PM)
UFB, Part 11 feedback (1)
Nice....the only thing I would do differently is to use a different drum kit. Or maybe you should let me get a copy of the melody and lay a beat on it for ya. I AM feeling this tune, though. Definitely seems like something someone could flow to.
I would have went a bit more bassy on the kicks, and maybe a bit stronger of a snare (or including a snare at all, for that matter, even sporadically). But yeah, i like it. 7.5 out of 10.

the melodies remind me of some video game, but they fit the drums pretty well. not too keen on the overall feel of this, too synthy and bleepy for me, but it's not bad.

i quite like the pianos, and nice drum work. this doesn't sound as obviously electronic and synthy as a lot of your other stuff. it might need a heavy bass at times, but i like the feel of this. it'd be good for an emcee with deep lyrics.
--djcriminal (Posted on Jun 16 2003, 06:21 AM)
UFB, Part 9 feedback (1)
Very nice. I don't know if I would have anyone rap over this...it might ruin it. I'm thinking it would make a good Bass track. Lace it with some DEEP sub-bass melodies, and maybe a few soft female samples....it'd be dope as hell. Not that it isn't right now, these are just suggestions of the direction I would take the track. But that's just me...and I have weird tastes that way. lol. Anyway, keep doing your thang, man. You got some major talents. Props.
