A Maddcap named Schizo...I'm returnin' the post on my board to show praise and honest, constructive criticism in an attempt to describe ya work....I haven't ventured out as much...hell I'm in hopes of gettin' mo time to see what da goin on amongst my society peers and what have ya. It's gettin' more and more rare as far as doin reviews (let alone makin' more studio stuff) but it hasn't left me yet. Critiques are opinionated so if I go away from the four-letter word (fact) then it's intended...I only observe potential to be timeless.
The site's graphics are nothin' fancy to take away from the music and you've answered Soundclick's questions to the best of your knowledge. The only thing that threw me off was the 2Pac bein' "(The greatest rapper to ever hit the studio)" when the word 'arguably' could have validated the opinion better. YOU AKADEMIK COULD BE THE GREATEST IF YOU WOULD JUST SET OUT TO BE IT SO. It pains me to see that most of the genre of hiphop-rap is being put through a meat grinder to clone the year 1996. So I dunno...maybe I'm just now realizing that it's under the question, "Your inflences?" and this was an opportunity to make your viewpoint clear. I will just have to give you a proper listen then and see if the artist shines through.
So I put the needle on tha 45rpm in hopes of a timeless groove. Track one ("Broken Reflection(Eminem Style)") introduces itself with a howling wind (?) and voices in the background with some modest drum work including acoustic with a detuned bass throughout. So it seems that the lyrics are being placed strategically with a mild southern drawl except with a Northern California-type (Brotha Lynch,Spice 1) delivery. The subject matter is a bit used however it makes the most out of a Gzu Tek production. A piano seems to be a favorite of yours creating the dramatic effect of 'Broken' but it makes for a better presence in "When Murder Was Written". Unlike 'Broken' it was well put together in terms of it's wide ranging vocabulary and putting an accent the same theme expressed in the previous track. In under 3 minutes...it damn sho gets to da point.

Now that the needle on the record had reached it's docking point, it's time for me to attempt to grade the site overall. Not an entirely bad outing for a guy starting out...out of 100% you have a 95%...It was a great listen, not at all a trendy affair.

My definite 'hot' button tracks you have posted on the site are:

* Chronic Induced
* Perspective Of An Hourglass
* Message Of Love
