Groovy, funky and ambient are the keywords to describe the Jazzjet sound. First track 'Dark Prince' alternates between a laidback major seventh groove and some unsettling minor key interludes. The cut and pasted sampled trumpet works well, but could have benefited from a little EQ to take off the hard edge and add a touch of ambience. Nice mixing.
