REVIEW: "Don't Waste My Time"

This isn´t a pop-song like those in the charts... it´s way better!!!

Unlike almost everything you hear on the radio these days, this song is a really interesting listen. And that´s the beauty of it.
If you´re not a musician and "just" want a nice pop/rock song then this works perfectly well... but if you´re a musician and/or composer, then this song also offers brilliant songwriting.

Who thought the two could be combined??

The production is spot on. Even though there are (at times) quite a few layes in the music, everything stands out and nothing is lost in the mix.

The singer has a great voice and sings the lyrics with superb clarity.

The guitar gives the song a rock-feel and it suits the song great! Love the chord changes in the solo that leads into the bridge.

The song itself is at times quite Beatle´esque. The "goodmorning, goodmorning" sounds like something straight out of Sergent Pepper and it´s just great.

I´d love to hear more from this band. I don´t know who you are, but if the rest of your songs are of the same quality, then you have a very bright future ahead of you!!

Very well done guys. I really can´t recommend this song enough!

CDBABY.COM - CD Review "Trip"
This cd entitled TRIP takes you on the ride of your life. From the catchy opening track "Surprise Me" to the heartfelt, emotional, eye opening "Your Life" it never lets you go.

"I Think You Should Know" with it's driving guitar riffs and in your face vocals is sure to be a number one hit on radio stations everywhere.
but then, "Strange Hours" takes you into a mellower mood slowing it down and unplugging it for a great song.

All in all I have listened to this album at least 50 times the first week I had it. You will find yourself tapping your foot and singing along to some of the most honest inspiring lyrics I have ever heard. In a world of boring cliche'd rock, Randori grabs you and doesn't let go.

I highly suggest that you grab this cd, crank it up to 11, and hold on, your about to embark on the TRIP OF YOUR LIFE.

AMAZON.COM - CD Review "Trip"
I stopped listening to the radio after about 2001. new rock music has been a bleak landscape of "nu-metal" and "hip-rock" and too much teen-angst from bands who outgrew their teenage years a decade ago.... the music is cookie-cutter, everything sounds the same, and i find myself listening to the same records i did in the 90s, and classics that never die like the Beatles White Album and Revolver.

then I stumbled across this band. saw them at a show in the Philadelphia area, and i was absolutely blown away by their sound. the music sounded.... familiar... for lack of a better word. it is original and creative, and VERY well produced, but at the same time, you feel like you can hear the influences of the music you grew up loving in the hooks, the guitar sounds, the melodies.... everything...

i am a musical snob... i am very critical of things i listen to... and this album is nearly flawless. i can put it on and not skip a single track, and when it reaches the end of the album, i am actually dissapointed that it's ended, and i will play it again.

iI you are looking for rock, that doesn't sound like a pre-fabricated replica of everything you hear on the radio, this is the album for you.

PLAY PHILLY MAGAZINE - Randori
Randori Ok, brace yourselves; we ’ re going to give a compliment that we don ’ t hand out very often. Philadelphia pop-rock band Randori not only has a refreshingly interesting sound — they also have intelligent, thoughtful lyrics to match. Let ’ s face it; it ’ s not often that you hear a band these days that really puts a lot of thought into the words of a song — instead, it ’ s all about what ’ s catchy and sounds good. But Randori? Well, they manage to pen lyrics with depth and maintain that catchy vibe at the same time.

Their music is soothing and mellow, but somehow it still manages to hold a satisfying dose of edgy rock, too. Jason Pascoe provides the main vocals, with Mike Ian on lead guitar, Pete Wilkins on bass, Johnny Rock on guitar, and Tony Iannuzzi on drums.

The band ’ s debut CD Trip is out now and it ’ s already received excellent reviews from critics. Hear some songs from the album on their MySpace page: www.myspace.com/randorimusic, or read more about Randori at www.randorimusic.com.

MUSESMUSE.COM - CD Review "TRIP"
Randori is not a bunch of teenagers that formed a band because they couldn’t get dates on Saturday night. The team of Jason Pascoe and Mike Ian are thoughtful, detail-attentive songwriters that have conceived a CD of twelve fully-realized, mature tunes that don’t overly intellectualize the drama of living life to its fullest. The band’s Japanese-derived name refers to dealing with chaos and we get splendiferous examples from each song.

The craftsmanship is apparent from the first song and continues throughout, exhibiting artful melancholy within each melody. Opening the CD is “Surprise Me”, a musically brilliant piece (with judicious use of a wah-wah peddle) that laments the inability to recognize a true love. Damesviolet, an Austin-based rock band that I admire, has a similar musical style, albeit less sophisticated and well- produced.

The second track “Wonderful You” begins a Beatlesque rummaging through emotions that will be an element Randori uses frequently in this album. The third track, “Nowhere To Hide”, is a beautifully haunting composition followed by an acoustic-driven “Your Life” with lyrics that contemplates things like “Inside you are hollow, the damage is done And this is your world…”.

“I Think You Should Know” and “Don’t Waste My Time” are odes to lovers that aren’t worth the time spent on them and are my two favorite songs on the CD. The remaining songs are elegant compositions that represent dogged pursuit of answers to life’s difficult questions.

I wish I’d seen a more raw song or two and the mix on the drummer was missing the fully-folded approach you see on a Stones album, but these are minor quibbles. A tour of Japan might also afford the band the time to write songs from a fresh perspective and perhaps re-introduce the chaos resolution so clearly sought by the band.

Great intro, great lead vocs and I like the affects on it.
The break and charge is awesome. I get like an "STP" feel from this band along with the harmonies crashing in so beautifully and well done!

I give you guys an A+ for sound and originality.

WONDERFUL YOU - Garageband.com
TRIPPY EXPERIENCE AND COOL GUITAR WORK!

This is a rare piece for garageband.

Guitar's work magic throughout the entire arrangement. Impressive! Whatever mood you are in when this song starts, you'll do a second take, and your mood will be affected. Vocals fit and are understandable.
The short lead guitar solos here and there are right on and have great tone and volume levels.

Any tune that can make you feel that you are going to a new place or taking a trip into a different realm is true art.

This song does just that. Very Cool!!
