Nothin But Respect. M-Tech is One of the best producers around. I'm priviledged to Grace his music and I enjoy his creativity, his Music is intensity at best and every song is like a Movie, You don't know how it will End. Keep up the Good Work, Tony!!!! Talano/CoportoFilms

REFLECTIONS! (a journey through life!)
Reflections is a slight departure from TonyM's last EP. Gone is the balliaric dance feaver of the "Shadows of Light" EP replaced by a much more ambient and reflective vibe. There are hints of Banco de Gaia and Massive Attack. The track "I AM (Bloodmix)" in particular stands out for me. If I were to try and pick a single from this album that would be the one. On the down side there are one or two tracks that don't go any where and I suspect are fillers (Sorry Tony), but on the whole this album is full of ambient gems with a slight dark edge to them that keeps you interested. Just one word of warning... be carefull what substances you partake of before listening to this album. The last track "Beyond The Light" will almost certainly give you nightmares.

I absolutly love the track "I am" any chance you could email me the mp3 or upload it to your ness page?

Cheers

REFLECTIONS! (ajourney through life)
SOLAR 26 (writer/producer)
ALL THE TRACKS ON HERE ARE UNMISTAKABLY M-TECH. I HAVE TO SAY, CONTINUITY AND COHESION HAVE TO BE HIGH ON THE LIST WHEN WRITING AN EP. YOU HAVE BOTH, I STILL HAVE TROUBLE LISTENING TO BEYOND THE LIGHT. IT'S A DISTURBING TRACK. I CAN'T SAY I LIKE ALL OF THE TRACKS, BUT I DON'T HAVE MANY CD'S FROM MY FAVOURIRE BANDS THAT I CAN TRUTHFULLY SAY EVERY SONG ON THE ALBUM IS TO MY TASTE. WELL-HERE GOES!! THE EP WILL PROBABLY BE LEAVING THE LISTENER WITH THE IMAGE OF SOME GUY IN A PADDED CELL, WRITING TRACKS VIA WIRES HANGING OUT OF HIS BRAIN, WHILST TRYING TO WRITHE AROUND IN A REGULATION STRAIGHTJACKET!THE FIRST TRACK(REFLECTIONS) IS THE ENDLESS HOURS SAT IN CONFINEMENT, WITH ONLY DARK THOUGHT FOR COMPANY. FALLING STARS IS HIS MEDICATION KICKING IN, AND SO ON, WITH THE LAST TRACK ETERNAL SUNSET BEING HIS DEATH AND FREEDOM FROM TORMENT. SORRY THIS SOUNDS DEEP, BUT IT'S THOUGHT PROVOKING STUFF. I THINK YOUR USE OF PECUSSION HAS BROUGHT A NEW DIMENSION TO YOUR TRACKS. MUSICALLY AND CONSTRUCTIVELY I CAN'T FAULT THIS COLLECTION. YOU KNOW IT'S NOT THE KIND OF THING I LISTEN TO NORMALLY. BUT I FEEL THAT THE INDIVIDUALITY OF THE EP IS GOING TO GIVE IT THE LEGS IT NEEDS TO DO THE BUSINESS. I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING SO DARK. I'LL KEEP LISTENING AND ADD MORE WHEN I FEEL THERE'S SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE TO SAY. IF YOUR NEXT EP IS AS LIGHT AND HAPPY AS THIS ONE IS DARK AND DISTURBING, I'LL BE LISTENING!!

MASTERPIECE!
Esther La Montagne - Reviewing ExtraPlay.com artists, their sounds, singles and album releases.

Album review: M-TECH “State Of Mind”
This 8 track album is a masterpiece of continuously shifting mood and tempo. Created by writers and producers TONYM and TOMTWO “State of Mind” is an album that is passionate and well crafted.
From the floor stomping electronic self – titled “State Of Mind” and “Back2bass to the smooth dub filled “Solitude” and “Tylervision”. From liquid beats to mind – numbingly harder electronically altered tones and beats that defies gravity, “State Of Mind” contains tracks that are definitely perceptive and chilling but also filled with floor fillers. “Step to Me” is a great track that drifts along and is christened with strong female vocals. This album is great!

KICKS ASS!
GECHE writer/producer re-mixer to Charles Webster
Hard hitting debut from UK's M-Tech - make no mistake, this is mainstream stuff; the whole album is well produced, in both the progression of the music to the craft of the mix. The bass pumps in just the right place, the melodies carry the beat onward. What's on offer is all cooked just right, no self conscious embellishments and pretty decorations to disguise poor instrumentals and weak builds - it's raw, direct and straight to the point: the ass, hips, feet and arms.
Highlights of the EP are the pounding 'State of Mind' and the electro pulse of 'Imperceptus' - both surefire floor fillers. Much anticipating the next evolution of M-Tech - I imagine them finding their vocal diva, more lush pads and pulsing basslines... surely their anthem isn't far away. What more needs to be said? Get a copy and get on your feet; move.

STATE OF MIND !E.P !
Kevin Scanlan NESSMP3.COM
You know dance music seems to me to get very repetitious and monotonous. Beats can drag on for what seams like an eternity with very little movement or melody. Then There is M-Tech. The Tony's are putting the finishing touches to the new M-Tech EP 'State of Mind'. Tony M got in touch with me and asked if I'd like to hear what they have so far, and I must say I'm glad he did. Far from being repitious and monotonous,'State of Mind' is constantly flowing with movement, sweet melodies filter sweeps and arpegios galore. From hardcore dance beats and balearic anthems to film score and trance. If you are into dance music at all, Then I reckon you're gonna love this. My personal favourite track has to be 'Transendual Dreams' .

S.W RECORDS!
DOUG CASH SW RECORDS
Tylersvision:
Dark and velvet, smooth and glacial. Would work wonderfully as a groovetrack for the Nip / Tuck series during one the classic dismemberment scenes. Well constructed, subtlely arranged without too much fanfare. Like giving your lover an oil massage after a lavender bubble bath. It's all foreplay in slow motion. Professionally produced and well executed.
Optimus:
Tense and stoic with an old school flare that harkens back to the raves of the 90's.
What started out as psuedo goth trip hop has a lighter side of jubilation and playfulness. Like Monk always taught us, space is important so as to let the song breath. This apsect has not been lost on M-Tech. You can get your groove on, minus the E and the headache.
