I've always held Armenian Hip-Hop very close, just because it's great to appreciate your own culture. BUT.. every Armenian Hip-Hop artist, does not come close to the calliber of heart Ararad Sarkissian puts into his work.

It was on myspace that I first time heard the music of Devilz-Speciez. I must admit that I became very picky with Hip-Hop music in last few years but when I heard Devilz-Speciez, it attracted my attention right away. When I listen to a certain artist, I pay attention to beats, lyrics and voice of the artists. Devilz-Speciez has all three. The first song that I heard was 'Controversary'.
I fell in love with the rhymes. They were like a poetry. His music brings the real sound of hip hop with unique lyrical style and great beats. What I liked the most is that he does not go with the mainstream. He does not talk about having money, riding twenty inch rims cars and hoes or anything that has to do with bling-bling style. Instead, his lyrics contain an intelligent topics that are brilliantly laced together.
He also has versatility. After listening to his other songs, I realized that he can change his flow style to adapt to any beat.

Everyone has a devil in them... For this guy the devil speaks from the heart and whats real... The devil does not need to hide behind the truth and sugar coat anything... Thats why we need the devil... Thats why the devil is here to stay!!!

I've Seen And Heard Some Of You're Freestyles.. Any Tips?:

Hmmm... I've been freestyling just as long as I've been writing music, poetry etc.
It's a manner - of just doing it, it's a habit, it's an establishment, and it's part of you're artistry.
Anyone can write that song, but when it come's to standing in a circulation of other's you got nothing to prove. I use to be heavily, into the battling tip, but moved in a distinctive direction.
as far as Tips, all I can say is... work at it, if you aint got it - work at it some more, if you still aint got it
the rest is up to how driven you are.

Controversary? I Took It In, Right Away..A Lot Of People Would Take In Bits...Wow'ed?:

Wow'ed? haha, not really. I guess, regardless of how you take it, it come's down to why the title was
just that : "Controversary" I had my mind set on what direction I was heading, I kind of acknowledged and
accepted any and I mean any animosity towards me. Anyone, whom questions it, questions the right to opinion and questions the truth of the endless racism, the endless political flaws, the endless radio-waved-distrutis material. It's about "Admitting"; I think that's the cure. I mean, we've all been through a lot in our time, and we've heard that story of where you were brought up, your religion, how your parentals could care less.. I love my parents, you know? I think the cure, in my life growing up was facing what was given.
Again, Admitting.. It's been nothing but help for myself. People, need to stop focusing on the little "Labels" and what justifies a fist through a skull....
It's about dignity and acknowledging factualism.
