string of storming local gigs and released their debut single - despite having a collective age of just 56.
They formed in the early part of this year when lead guitarist Luke Budworth's dad, Jon, decided to take them under his wing.
He is a local guitar teacher and through his record company, Stolen Records recorded the five-piece onto CD which includes the title track Ghostrain and a cover of the classic Troggs' song ,Wild thing.
Jon said: "People can't believe that a big sound comes from such a small band. Close your eyes and you could be listening to AC/DC."
Rhythm guitarist Jack Castledine, who attends St Thomas' CE Primary School in Leigh, says the band get their inspiration from the likes of The Darkness, Blink 182 and Ozzy Osbourne.
He said: "I think we will be a success because we have been only going for a short time and in a couple of months we will be sorted and we will be a brilliant band.We get the crowd going and our music has something for everyone in it."
The 10 year old is no stranger to stardom after appearing ina national advertsing campaign for Comet.
He also attends A Will and Way Acting School, is the songwriter and even designed their own website.
Jack, who's idol is Justin Hawkins, added: "I just love music.It's my favourite subject and anything to do with music is right up my street.I've always wanted to be in a band and it's like a dream come true for me!"
Their next gig will be supporting a local band Stolen Thunder at Wigan's Mill at the Pier on Tuesday, December 21st, at a 7pm start.
