Ghoul Detail on the "Johnson Family Project" EP
This is without doubt your finest work to date Schadenfreude, the EP as a whole plays like a dream. Atmosphere is just right, it's more musical than your usual stuff which seems to take it in a more leftfield/experimental direction... and Conflict/waiting for Daybreak is definitely the best crafted track you've done to date. Don't know what else to say really, I'm listening on pc speakers at work so I'll need to get it home onto my system to really appreciate it (can't hear some of the vox too well through these shitty little speakers)... but shit, this is good stuff.
Good work Schaden, I'm really impressed.

Review of "The Hopelessness of Love"
The Hopelessness of Love... thats a brief one... its warm, weird and passes like a disorienting wind... the mutated recording feel is wonderful... its like a musical jewellery box broken and playing by itself... and the vision i see while listening, can described as a music box among the pieces of an old building (bombed a while ago or after an earthquake)... not a brick or stone building though... more like a huge building broken into pieces of concrete and steel... and its sunset time... the dim light of the sun bites our eyes when it finds a direct way through the remains of the building and makes it hard to see around, like a thin, pale yellow-pink curtain, as we try to move steadily over the destroyed old furnitures mixed with concrete pieces... the atmosphere is both nostalgic and futuristic. also a warm but disturbing one... the vocal samples also give an effect of a story being whispered to our ear by an artificial someone...
well i dont want to dive into more technical words as everything sounds quiet fine and original... but i can see the visualisation of this music would be very nice... i wish i could have the chance to make a video-work for this...
anyway... very nice work...
