Review Of Mitchell Jessie
"Man, Ive been thinking for weeks about how i can review Mitchells music..."
"All can say is you are the greatist unsigned artist i have ever came across, I mean, I listen to your music in regualar rotation with Bruce, Petty, Jackson Browne. I recommend EVERYONE to download these songs. It is just good music, timeless rock n roll. If you can't tell im a huge fan. You just rock dude"
My only review would be RECORD MORE. I want a full length album. I would pay $18.99 for it at the Virgen Mega Store. I Would.

Mitchell Jessie
Mitchell Jessie is an American rocker in the tradition of John Mellencamp, with a unique vocal that might be compared to Meatloaf for its power and grit. ?For You? is a ballad about the love of family recorded live at one of Mitchell?s solo performances. It features his piano and harmonica work. I found the lyrical content refreshingly earnest, with the artist celebrating his relationships, particularly his giving thanks to his parents, for their love and support. This is a first rate performance recorded by an experienced songwriter. Mitchell, if you come to LA and need a drummer, I'm your man!

My review of Mitchell Jessie:-
'She's Changin'- The first thing I notice is excellent production here - I absoloutely love the drum sound and the vocal harmonies are put together very well indeed. I am a huge blues/rock fan so how could I not like this one? This is how I like my music - raw, energetic and live-sounding. Excellent.
'For You' - A nice change of pace from the last track. This one really shows off your vocal talents which I think are immense. Nice piano and some beautiful lyrics. Everyone likes a good ol love song and this one is certainly a good one! They don't make many artists like you anymore - this is a huge compliment because when I come across an artist of this talent I think of it of as finding a gem. Love it. Love the applause at the end too. Hehe.
'Wait One Minute' - A simple and effective rocking singalong. You can't have too many of these in your live shows.
Overall thoughts - what can I say, you are a very accomplished and talented singer and songwriter. In the commercial world we live in we are exposed to less and less of this kind of stuff but I for one love it and wish there was more of this kind of stuff around. Nothing negative to say at all - massive thumbs up!!!

"Shes Changing"
Excellent song, I like the way it was written and performed. The harmonies are Great as well.
The changes fit the song perfectly.
Overall, I think you guys are destined for stardom.
As soon as I get time, Im going to check out the rest of your songs, which should be just as enjoyable.
Keep up the good work and will most likely be hearing some of your songs on the radio..

Wait One Minute
Wow. That's about all I can say. WOW. I've got no suggestions for improvement. No 'minor complaints'. This song showcases excellent songwriting, musicianship, vocals and harmony. Obviously the work of a very serious and talented artist. Singer-songwriter rock and roll done exceptionally well.

Mitchell Jessie
Mitchell Jesse - "Professionalism is the word that comes to mind upon reviewing these tracks. I hear no weaknesses in any aspect of the writing or performing..." "...there is no reason at all in my opinion that this artist shouldn't be signed to a major record label. Yes - it's that good"

Mitchell Jessie - Movin' On
So the other day I check out Mitchell Jessie's "she changin" and got really mad. This was before I became an acclaimed music critic so I didn't give it a review. I was mad for two reasons. Firstly: the song was damn good. Secondly: I didn't write it. Now Mr. Jessie has asked for a review, I shall move on (pun intend). In reviewing Mitchell's "movin on", I found much of the same. In the best way.
Firstly, for live- this song is great. Even if it were a studio performence, it would be solid. With guitar chords and pitch perfect harmonies that recall CSNY and the Beatles, "movin on" is something old, something new, something blue and something borrowed. There is a lot of sincereity here and that shows. As I said in an older review, this genre does project the most passion and any music with passion is the best kind. It is what it is all about. The song structure is solid. Not to be redundent but the vocals all around are great.
I really can't say much more.
4.5 out of 5 stars
