03/17/04 | Noah Jones
Noah Jones A.K.A. O.T. which stands for "ONE TAKE" was born and raised in Peekskill, New York. He was reading the New Times at the young age of five which prompted him to start writing short stories at the age of nine, and then began writing lyrics at the age of eleven. Noah has established some fan base in New York and Southern California from performing in talent shows and concerts. Noah has a style like no other. And feels his approach to music and writing is based on emotions and feelings.

Noah's music is very vivid and reflects the hardships of the average
working man. Currently Noah is working on a third album. His first two
albums "The Sorrow" and "The Author" hit the streets and did very well.

Noah states "there are a lot of rappers out there, but very few artists. A true artist doesn't pick up his paintbrush and choose what to paint it just comes to him and each painting is it's own masterpiece....varying in concept, style, delivery and of course feeling which is the same in my music".

If you pay close attention to the songs and patterns you will hear the
difference in each one. Including the message. You will hear names and events and nine times out of ten they happen the way they are illustrated in the songs. Noah's style will continue to change all the time because he has no set style.

"I rhyme based off my emotions and how the beat makes me feel....I have my own identity and all my songs have their own substance. Each track varies in sound, emotion and topics so therefore I am original....I go from happy to sad to party to thug to romantic......Life changes everyday as is the same in my music. With the mixture of East Coast and West Coast".

Noah Jones will be a force in the music industry for a long time to come.

Recent Accomplishments:
Noah was featured in the Music Connection magazine in November which goes to A/R, labels and radio stations. His demo review got one of the highest marks ever for a up and coming Hip/Hop artist and did so well they then brought him back in December for their end of the year Top 25 demos of 2003 issue. Recently on March 9, 2004 Noah was featured on A-1 and Spinderella's show on 100.3 The Beat during their Smash it or Trash it segment and listeners voted to keep his music in rotation. Last but not least Noah has been featured on various mix DJ's cd's and currently he has more features upcoming.

Noah is very diverse, he can go from happy to sad, he has club tracks and emotional songs about life. He has a good delivery and flow, definitely look out for this cat. Not to mention he has no guest appearances, all the songs Ive heard so far were solo songs.

The Fire Within Burns Strong for Noah Jones!
Noah Jones' first CD "The Author" provided an autobiographical narrative of the New York born-turned-Anaheim, California based emcee. All 17 tracks appeared as a perverbial chapter in the rapper's life, thus allowing the streets to fully identify with this quick-witted artist. The Fire Within is Noah Jones' follow-up, and has the potential to blow away DJs, clubs, car speakers, producers, MCs, and record labels. All 14 tracks display definitive growth on the part of Jones, not too mention an element of humor that was absent on his last offering. Presently, his management is in meetings with some of both independent and major labels. Additionally, a deal was just signed to license Jones' material on television and movies. There is a lot more news to bring about this underated hip hop talent, so keep it locked to this website!

Demo Critiques: Noah Jones
Specializing in staccato beats and smack-down street-reportage (the trebly "Acting Up" and "Are You With Me"), Noah Jones would come off like a boatload of other rappers if his vocal delivery were just average. Instead, he's a truly dazzling vocalist, an artist with a talent for bobbing and weaving his rhymes so that familiar themes sound fresh and compelling. Noah gets some R&B soul (and good bass) into the act with "A Piece of Myself", our favorite track here. - Production: 7 - Lyrics: 8 - Music: 7 - Vocals: 8 - Musicianship: 7 - Final Avg: 7.4 - NOTE: Music Connection's executive committee rates demos on a scale of 1 to 10. Number 1 being the lowest posible score, and 10 representing the highest possible score. A final score of 5 denotes an average, competent artist demo.

NOAH JONES IS ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED UNSIGNED ACTS I HAVE EVER HEARD
every song i heard on this site was in a class by itself. From delivery to topics,to emotions. Its amazing to hear an artist that can carry so many songs without being accompanied by other artists to back him up. every word ,every syllable, was enunciated with crisp precise accuracy. this guy is amazing.long overdue for a major record deal.
