In This Moment is a worship album recorded by the group For God’s Sake (FGS) from All God’s Children MCC in Minneapolis. This nine-song collection comes in an enhanced CD format which features full band arrangements, lyric sheets and a video of the single Jesus to the world, making it easy to incorporate these songs into your personal worship time or Church fellowship.

The praise and worship music so creatively expressed on this CD is a great example of a group of musicians acting like the body of Christ, combining their musical talents and gifts together to bring such a collection of songs which encourage the listener to offer their thanks and worship of the Lord. This is a project that is easy to listen to, and easy to sing along with. A few times in the course of listening some of the arrangements of the instruments seemed a bit much or out of place and unnecessary and sometimes made it distracting to the message of the vocals. However, this group pours out their heart for God in every song making it a great praise and worship project overall.

In This Moment is an honest, heartfelt Praise and Worship album that can help turn any house into a house of worship. Paul David Stanko has written several outstanding songs included in this project, In This Moment, One in Christ and Jesus to the World, to mention just a few, which really complement the project well. This project has also been nominated for several Stonewall Music Awards (see information in the “out and about” section of this issue of PCM Online), quite an achievement for a project as new as this.

We both recommend this upbeat collection of worship songs to energize one's walk with the Lord, especially through the rough spots that we enter in our daily lives.

A truly packed and enhanced, value added CD. "In This Moment" is both a highly charged musical and visual experience. Nine songs and a special "The End" clip complete this high-energy contemporary Christian music CD. Arranged by Paul David Stanko, the music includes classic examples with original spin as well new fresh material. In addition to arranging Mr. Stanko also composed several of the songs included. The video of "Jesus To The World" shows the enjoyment of the choir in performing, as well as the intense effort in creating this CD. Lyrics and even band arrangements are also included in the CD presentation.
      As described on the website this group specializes in high-energy contemporary Christian music. And they do mean high energy. FGS' take on "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee" is a current rendition of a literally ages old standard. Not since "Sister Act II" have I heard this piece delivered with such originality and spirit. Ludwig Van Beethoven would I am sure be pleased with the presentation of his music in this powerful example of ageless value. All in all a testament to FGS' sprit, combined talents, and dedication
