FALL AWAY--------- Eddie Vedder Sings for Dave Matthews! Pearl Jam meets The Dave Matthews Band. fuzzle - San Jose, California--------- La Jamba nice vocals, melody , etc... it jammed so much that i wanted to put a guitar solo in it nice ! larsyyz - Fort Wayne, Indiana--------- THE STICK--------- Bob Asbury? Ian Mould? This reminds me of the strangest combination of things - Husker Du and the Cult! Is it possible? I'm very confused, which is very nice. Nice interesting guitar sound and I'm always a sucker for the old tambourine-in-the-chorus thing. The song is nice and short! I like the doubling on the vocals. Thanks for confusing me! iambic - Boston, Massachusetts--------- Great Song!!!!! Well this ones going on my play list.Good job guys!!!Great Song!!!!! I really like this song. local15 - Lodi, New Jersey--------- Real Rock in the Rock Catagory!!! At LAST!!! REAL Rock in the 'rock' catagory. Loved it!!! So nice to hear a singer that can carry a tune and doesn't use *rap* to beg off the fact he can't sing. Loved the whole vibe of the tune. Nice, tasteful solo and the guitars are tone rich!!! Where's the CD? StickPeople - Taylors, South Carolina--------- ROCK ON! Good song. I think it's a really cool tune you guys have. I really liked it. I seriously can't think of any way to make this clip better! Ipacak - Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania--------- JAM DUDE !!!!! TIGHT !!!!! Good Riffin, Crank the guitar solo up and jam longer dude ! coffeeman - Port Townsend, Washington--------- Be my Lover? Sure this song reminds me of a mix between Monster Magnet and Creed. Weird mix.. but good sound. Good strong Vocalist. Guitar rifs a little basic. Overall a good song.. I would be interested in hearing more from this band. ShaunaK76 - Reno, Nevada--------- very a-ok This song is pretty cool. I like the whole package. Bass is there. Drums are good. Vocals are a-ok. I might try a different effect on the guitar. but this song is good PlanetOhm_Bat - Irvine, California--------- I feel like dancin This song has the feel good mood. I think I could really get into this song hearing it more than just once. The singer has a powerful voice and really adds character to this song. Punk9er - Morgantown, West Virginia--------- Be My Lover, With a Different Kind of Rock!! I usually don't dig on the new rock sound, but this song makes a serious exception! It holds to a very time-tested basis with its guitars, vocals, and drums - but does it all *well*. The band also threw in several elements which fit in beautifully, such as a tambourine and what sounds like a metal bell. This isn't terribly far off what we've all heard on the radio a million times, but adds its own flair which keeps it from blending into the scene. Nicely done! Melie_chan - Strasburg, Colorado--------- Tight sounds Reminds me of Godsmack, good feeling beat and I like this stuff Mulebennett - Charlottesville, Virginia--------- maybee not hall of fame, but kick ass. hyphenham - Glasgow, UK, Scotland--------- Stone Temple Pilots? Nice tune you have here. The mood is a very summer like mood. Sorta like, crusin to the beach kinda feel! ! Awesome job here. Extra points of mood!! ROCK ON! Thrasher33 - Denver, Colorado--------- DO DO DO DO! makes me wanna sing along with them. Sublevel7 - Clark, New Jersey--------- travalin' band.....???? Id Like to hear more of these guys!!! Buy their CD!!! Latestart - Troy, Ohio--------- Most catchy tune(hint : garageband-you need to make that a c Nice tight sound and good vocals and harmonies on this song. The sound of the vocals at first made me think of Buddy Holly by Weezer. ( and I love Weezer) I lie this song a lot and can't wait here more. This song also seems like one that once you hear it it would be stuck in your head. It is very catchy. Good Luck to you. MO_beers - Paris, Texas--------- LAST ONE IN IS A.... The girls are gonna love ya! This stuff would sound great cranked up at a modern day beach party. Anonymous - Encino, California
HOMESLICE: Alan's Wrench
They're from orange county and they're not punk or ska?!? Unprecedented! What they are is hard to classify. We have here three very different sounding tracks. "To See You Again" is head-bopping pop. "Eden" is, well, it's Hootie! And "Still Stubborn" is alt rock. It's actually entertaining to listen while Alan's Wrench work through their identity crisis. Hey, there's no rule that stipulates conformity throughout a body of work. Diversity is a good thing. I'm more interested to hear where they go from here. Three tracks down ... when do we hear more?
