source tape was found in a portable tape deck bought in a thrift shop, recorded by an American soldier in Vietnam. As the battery dies, the pitch got slower, and was compensated for by a pitch shifter. Mixed with improvisation for banjo and vocals
mixer improperly set up to generate feedback which was sampled and then used as a rhythm loop along with samples from the news. Would be a nice way to replace interrogation techniques such as 'water boarding'.
effects chain manipulation and tapes with source material such as factory machinery and sampler loops.
drum machine triggering a digital sampling delay along with a synth being triggered by the same drum machine... and space balls.
made with a borrowed guitar and amp with chorus, spring reverb, a clean channel, and a dirty channel. Completely improvised and recorded live. Segments were later used for "One Louder" on my first album "I Go On With My Life".
