A short clip demo'ing my new Tokai ES-135 (Gibson ES-335 clone)
Its starts with neck pickup then middle position and then to bridge pickup and switching back to the neck at the end.
A song to demo the tone of the 'Dirty Bear' pedal I made, which is similar to the Clay Jones overdrive but with a few mods.
This was mainly a song to show off the new coil swap/out of phase push pull tone controls I added to the guitar.
Starts with neck pickup then neck pickup with coil swap. Bridge pickup then bridge pickup with coil swap and then the out of phase ton
My take on another great les paul forum backing track.
Another great Les Paul forum backing. This time playing clean. I added tiny bit of reverb just because I think clean recordings sometimes need a little something.
I am finally set up to record again so here is my first shot using a les paul forum backing track.
This is recorded as is, straight into my JTM45 through my box of rock at a very low volume. No reverb because I wanted to show the great tone of the
Another clip showing SDM's effects loop. This one is all effects loop. Please ignore the high end clipping that goes on. that is not the effects loop or amp, it is my crappy sound card.
A member of the Metro amp forum named SDM was kind enough to let me try his effects loop in my amp. Here it is, first in bypass mode and then at about 1min is with the effects loop with my vanamps reverb. I love this effects loop a lot.
I decided to do another clip of the Box of Rock since I love it so much. This time with an early Robben Ford tune, a lot bluesier than his later more jazzy stuff. This song was originally a B B King song I believe? Sounds very BB anyway.
This is w
Rod asked if I could do a Tin Pan Alley style clean recording of the skatterbranes in the middle position and this is what I came up with. Everything on 10 with the guitar in the middle position. Everything on the amp is set to 5 except the volume wh
Again showing off the box of rock. Same settings as the we're going wrong demo.
I recently purchased a Vexter box of rock and I love it. I decided to do a few clips of it. This is with the bluesbreaker on 1 on the volume and everything else on 5. Box of rock was about 2 o'clock on the drive, 9 o'clock on the volume and 1 o'clock
this is NOT me. But I thought I would host this MP3 demo of Udo Pipper from Germany doing a live performance with his skatterbrane pickups.
He is using a self built JTM45 with marstran OT with Vox Conqueror with `66 silver bulldogs. He is in the r
another clean demo of the Skatterbranes. This time its neck pickup in the left speaker and bridge pickup in the right speaker doing lead.
I used adobe audition for the reverb this time and not the vanamps.
I am really trying to get people to notice skatterbrane pickups. I believe they are the best PAF replica out there. Everyone I know who has tried them has raved about them. Some even believing they are BETTER than real PAF humbuckers! I think clean d
Same backing as the Les Paul version but I gave it a shot with the Telecaster. They are quite similar in tone, the telecaster is cleaner but with sacrifice on smooth saturation. I like them both in their own ways.
A friend on Youtube gave me this great backing. Similar to Since I've Been Loving you. This take is with the LP.
I decided to do another take of bluesbreakers 'have you heard' because I wasn't entirely happy with the first attempt.
Now that I have some proper recording gear I thought I should do I proper job at doing the bluesbreakers 'All Your Love'. First without the rangemaster and then with the rangemaster.
In my opinion without is closer to the bluesbreaker tone but y
Just mucking around with the new recording gear and my acoustic.
I had a stub at mic'ing up my acoustic and doing some unaccompanied blues. The EHX preamp really warms it up and to me it sounds pretty nice.
This was a hard one for me. Its more of a Jazz style and I just couldn't get the chord progression. Every time I thought a section was coming up it wasn't what I was expecting and it threw me. But I liked the challenge.
Just more jamming using the great Les Paul Forum backings. For the delay in this clip I used my BYOC delay.
Another Les Paul Forum blues backing. This time with the pickups out of phase.
Another Les Paul Forum backing track
