tried to do a song by create a solo bass line first and then write lyrics. Interesting experiment.
Great jam from TNuT over at the LPF. I added a couple of guitars and lyrics.
Mick had a "dictionary" challenge at RPM and I got the word Helium. 3 acoustics, bass and vocals. The drumming didn't work out, so I skipped it.

I tried to take a nap one day and this song popped in my head. So I got up and wrote it down. Traditional Country
MAB "title/line" challenge. This is what I came up with and I threw the kitchen sink at it, too.
This is why we do 50/90, FAWM, RPM and all those things that make us write songs. OK, my nephew was in town and we cranked up the recorder to get this song in the books. Lots more work to do, but gotta move on.
Sort of a homage to Steve Earle's Some Day, except the guy wants to stay instead of leave town.

Rockit! placed this great funk jam up at the FDP and after watching 'The Punisher' movie last night it must have inspired these lyrics. My wife joins in on the fun.
