The lyrics were inspired by a touching story about a new prematurly born baby that had to go through a corrective heart surgery. It is dedicated to all loving parents.
Recorded with my voice, Rode NT3 mic., Edirol UA-4fx audio interface and Sonar LE DAW.
I just turned 41 yesterday.
Worked my ass all day and ended up with a song that describes how it's like...
to be 41.
A project I did for my newphew who wanted a song for the 1st year anniversary with his girlfriend. He wrote the lyrics I did all the rest.
A collaboration material at 'The Cracks' request for a ballad. Playback done on a single day off. Bass and acoustics at breafast. Electric solo over lunch. Mix and Acid drum loops at evening.
A very short sketch I did once on the BR-864 was edited (cut&paste) in Acid to form this one.
The original was lost and I can't redo it.
Started as a bass sketch on the PS04 at the local cafe'
Added acoustic at home, transfered to Acid, replaced PS04 drums with Acid Loops.

It's in a very primary stage. Just recorded it in one take for the idea to be preserved. To be continued...
1 bass, 2 electric, 1 acoustic recorded on PS04. Additional drums & congas and mix done on AcidPro.
Added lyrics and had to sing it myself to demonstrate the vocals melody.
Ahmm... don't panic. it's not an alarm.
it's just my limited voice trying to deal with Rock'n'Roll :)
Recorded in about an hour on Jun 21 2006 is my first project on the PS04 that actually sounds like a song skeleton and not the usual pathetic improvisation.
