Watching a Sheryl Crow special I heard one of her Tuesday Jam Group pals say the title line. That inspired me to write this song.
I wrote this song in 1958. My pal Ken Lee dug it up, rewrote the lyrics and gave it a newer feel!
Kind of interesting that a 3-year old (Arwen, my grand-daughter) would name her doll Cryin' Rain!
Not many songs have been written for post-Christmas. This one hopes to do that!
