Where the Moon Meets the Sun

I am an aspiring songwriter in the Columbus area. I am a member of the Dayton/Cincinnati chapter of the Nashville Songwriters association International (NSAI). I have been writing for about 9 - 10 years. Became hooked on songwriter and started performing to get my music "out there". I also love playing acoustic guitar, the instrument of the gods (okay - a little over the top).
Band/artist history
I have been writing songs for about 9 - 10 years since I joined the NSAI chapter. I play around town every chance I get. I expect nothing from it except the thrill of performing and the comraderie of being around other songwriter/musicians.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play live at a couple of venues in the area: the Espressoyourself Music Cafe (in Powell) and at Papa Joes (in Ashville). I got to play 2 songs at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville as part of National Guitar Workshops class. Big thrill - but I don't see them inviting me back.
Your musical influences
Musical influences: folk music from the '50's, Paul Simon, John Denver, Beatles, Indigo Girls, Eddie From Ohio
What equipment do you use?
Taylor acoustic guitar, Breedlove acoustic guitar, Wildwood 5 string banjo, and learning bass and mandolin.
