It's missing an intro, which I like, but it was way too long. Also, this ain't a final mix.
Another one of my songs that defy the rules of "genre". Starts off with a ambient weirdness and toy synth sound, then turns into DnB, back into ambient-ish, and finally me (badly)jamming on guitar to a goofy re-hash of the kiddie synth.
Warning! Bad singing and harmonica abuse ahead! Yes, that's right, I sing *cough* on this one. Also, just to clarify, I never heard the psychadelic furs song until just the other day!
I wasn't able to make any new music this week because FL Studio suddenly ceased to exist (ie not in the registry no matter what I do); here's a little something of mine I encoded a long time ago, so be gentle!
Only the freshest, hand-plucked stringed instrument samples mixed with mild, steamed electro beats and a generous helping of hardy drums, all in a creamy string sauce and topped with a handful of traditional Supatrigga'd breakbeats for variety.
Simplistic, loopy club tune (with no loops, mind you).
It's a weekly, whaddaya expect? This is definately one I plan to work on later on down the line. Some spit and polish and it's all good.
I'm forcing myself to write, record, mix, and master - or at least, PUBLISH a song each week. This one is a VERY simple club/house/whatever peice - keep in mind that you can't be let down if you don't expect the world...
