This is a new mix of an old song of mine about life in one of our local Jersey Shore towns... with reference made to the former mayor who will soon be taking up residence in one of our fine federal corrections facilities. New mix 12-16-09

New demo 08-26-09. All string parts were played on a little midi keyboard with e-mu's Proteus X sound module...some really awesome software. The characters in the song are based upon some old friends of mine from way back when.

Poverty often has a devastating effect on young children. One of the effects is when a father leaves the family. This happened a lot in the '70's, and was the inspiration for this song (see story).
