Been listening to a bit of Ace........
I had not heard this in 20 yrs. This is my 4 track debut cassette. Recorded in an apartment basement, with a Peavey amp, a Whammy Pedal, and a Tascam 4 track, that I bounced track over track upon.... Crazy stuff, not Hi-Fi in any way...
Watched 'The Warriors' and knew a synth was in my future.... Love those vintage sounds!!
Live version of Sugar City... One of my favorites to play....
Good and loud take on Sparkle.
An extended jam on a Kool classic. Best funk riff in history if you ask me....
A live version of a Planet Klassik....
Live take on Fat JoJo, a tune that would not exist without the influence of Jeff Beck...
Big grooves, vintage amps, and having some fun.....
Hooking up with scream queen supreme, Felicia Mitchell on this track. She penned some fabulous lyrics for this one, her vocals blow me away!
A big driving track, lots of textures, huge drums, and spacey synth sounds.
My favorite track by my 1st guitar hero, Robin Trower. Arlys Alford knocks it out of the park with her amazing vocal take. Gave me chills when we tracked it! Peter Gaard bangs the drums full on old school...
Not since the likes of Wired era Jeff Beck and a young Edward Van Halen, has there been a more explosive guitar player. Kevin Schafer and his Planet K grooves are the 'real deal'!!
A sleazy, sci fi romp, through the sonic wasteland....
A vintage monster going for a lil test drive, driven by a P-90 in a double cut Jr I just built....
Just a sonic taste test... Which is the PV?
Three amps, one is a Hiwatt...
Some more of the 70s flavored 'hard stuff'
Some more of my instrumental messin.... Listen to those crazy drums!! Rikki came up large on those things!
Heavy on the funk and full of screaming guitars. Just a little Jeff Beck flavor on this one.
Messing with a spectacular WEST FILLMORE AMP. A huge sounding 200 watt monster.
