I have been wanting to write a record a Motown style song but I could never get a decent horn sound that didn't sound to fake. I recently got some horn audio samples that I can play through my keyboard. Vocals are by Jim Higgins from Ireland.
This one took a long time to record, it took me a while to program the drums to get that solid snare backbeat and there are eight guitar parts (sounds like borderline OCD) and bass, vocal came out alright considering I can't sing. :)
My musical tastes are very erratic. I wrote and recorded this hard rock song. GuitarRig 5 software gets the crunchy distorted sound. I couldn't attempt to sing because you have to scream it out and then peoples ears would bleed and no one wants that.
I recorded this blues rock song and I thought the organ and the guitar licks came out pretty good. I sent the music to Trevor and he wrote the lyrics and did a great job singing.
I wrote and recorded this music and sent it out to Trevor from the UK. He wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocal.

A song about death, Tried to make a light, bouncy song to go with the dark lyrics.
I will be glad when this election will finally be over next week. I can't remember campaigns being this negative and nasty. I am not into politics I think they are all a bunch of crooks and liars but they could at least try to work with each other.
This song is dedicated in memory of Vern Mason. My cousin Amy and Vern were married for years and he left this world way to young.
My Latest song for FAWN.

Wonderful lyrics by Geneva, we always hear about our differences, political differences, east coast vs west coast, north vs south, rich vs poor. When if you take a closer look we all have more in common and our differences really don't add up to much
Not the Robert Cray song but the Name of the Blues/Rock band I was in during the 80's & 90's.
The title comes from a line in a Stephen King novel, I am pretty sure from "It". I thought it was a good line and have had it kicking around for a while.
This song was written and performed by myself and Roddy Renfrew. Roddy lives in Scotland and we met on a songwriters website.
This my 10th song of the month, the words were written by Geneva Griffin from Oregon and I wrote and played the music and sang. The vocals aren't as good as I would like and I will work on them more next month .
