Why this name?
My real name (Tina) wasn't available. "WebGab" is a combination of something related to my "real" job and my former pet cat.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's great that anyone can share their music with anyone else in the entire world via the web.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
The idea is so unfathomable I can't even think of an answer : )
Your influences?
I like everything from Beethoven to Zepplin.
Favorite spot?
I like the city and the country (no generica-ville), and the water.
Equipment used:
Korg M3, Fender 6-string acoustic, Ibanez classical, numerous soft-synths and plug-ins ; sequencer and mixer, etc.

Someday I hope to sing but I am so awestruck by the talent out there. Eva Cassidy's voice is an inspiration and Bonnie Raitt's is like an old friend to me, not to mention all the non-commercial talent I hear everyday. Until that happens though, my music here will be quite different from what I hope to eventually compose. So, in a way, this is like a version 1 of what I hope to do.
