NEW WEBSITE!!!! www.crimsontruth.com WANT CRIMSON TRUTH MERCHANDISE? vist www.cafepress.com/crimsontruth Mission Statement The desire of Crimson Truth is to spread the Truth of the Gospel through the words of the songs that we sing. We play emotionally charged rock music because we are excited about the message that we bring. We believe that there is power in music that honors and praises God. We Believe That the God of the Bible is the only God. That He sent Jesus Christ to earth to teach us how to love, and to forgive ours sins through His death, burial, and resurrection. That Jesus Christ is the Truth, the Way, and the Life and that He and He alone provides the way to eternal life. Format We can provide music in a concert setting or in a worship setting or both. We are available for Youth Nights, Lock-ins, retreats, or other special events. Though, we prefer to play a certain style we can accommodate most any audience our main goal is to minister through music. Band History Crimson Truth is the result of several years of patience and prayer. Shane Hubbard and Jason Whitson met through a sign in a store window. They started out as Tribe 13. Over the past 6 years they practiced and played and saw several people come and go until this past summer. With two new fantastic musicians and people in the group they knew God had placed the right people together. This is evident through the music they make and the fellowship they have.
Band/artist history
Brian Stidham I began playing the guitar at the age of 13. I was originally influenced by bands like Black Sabbath and Metallica, and by guitarists Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. Little did I know what the Lord had in mind for me. After I was saved my listening styles changed to groups like Petra and Third Day. The guitar skills I learned listening to the popular rock groups of my youth, now are used for the glory of God. I began playing with Crimson Truth in June of 2004. I am married to Karla, my wife of eight years. She is my support and inspiration. I have one son, Erik, who is 18 months old. Erik is my gift from God. John 16:33 Jason Whitson I have been involved in music for most of my life. Though I have studied music in college and teach chorus and general music in the public school system, my first love will always be playing Christian Rock music in this band. I have played in several Christian bands. Tribe 13 was started out of a meeting with Shane and former drummer Larry Dockery and recently we have added new members and become Crimson Truth. My influences are Petra, Third Day, Larry Norman, Resurrection Band, and most of the 80’s metal bands. I have been married to Lee Whitson since June of 1996. She is my inspiration and musical peer. Lee actually sang with Tribe 13 for a while. Lee and I are proud parents of our son Eric, whom we adopted from Russia this year. Ephesians 6:10 Andrew Sergent - Andrew is the youngest and newest member of Crimson Truth. He comes to us a very seasoned drummer having played with several Christian Bands and Worship Teams. Andrew is from Wise, VA.
