O...M...G!!! I got freakin' palpitations seeing my name in magic marker on big, dirty, white sheets of paper! The grey Vdub, John Shatelle... It was worth every one of the 35 years of "post-production" to see this projected on my 17" (diag), flat-panel monitor! I plan to put a large-calibre bullet through a contemporary Whopper in commemoration. You guys are truly SICK!!!
Great stuff guys ! You might want to check out our version of the Memphis Jug Bands - Cocaine Habit Blues.

You really nailed the vibe, tone and feel of the Jug era which is a rare skill these days.
Burger King blues..................!!

Very Funny.
Added your songs to my stations.Your S.C.Bro.~(;Yrral Mallikwink ;)
FYI - If you are wondering about the GHW connection, Gary is playing the Banjo on Remington Ride, Glendale and Devil. He is the singer / songwriter for BK Blues. He mostly plays the mandolin these days (check out his two sites), but can still play the banjo if you push him. He was the one that got Vassar to pick up his fiddle and play Old Joe with us back stage.
Hey,

Vassar song brought me back...

Umm, could you guys post the old USG recording of "Wild Horses?" It's a great version, and the song is currently enjoying something of a renaissance.

Plinkily,
GHW
Hey Swampgrass Persons,

Cool site, that I found by accident (or mistake?). You guys should give cred to Pete DeSimone for his dynamite vocal on "Ami de Diable."

Check out the "GHW" page too, when you get a minute.

Salut,
GHW
Hello,
I took time out to listen to your song "Blackberry Bumble"...a very nice bluegrass tune and i like the vocals that make me feel good, nice work...I voted the song HOT to push it some spots in the charts, keep up the good work...I would like for you to listen to my instrumental sometime(much different sound than yours)...and mine is prolly not as good as yours but oh well..thanks and much respect
