The riff is catchy enough...too bad it's the only one! The song lacks a certain amount of variation in melody and rythm which may not hold the listeners interest for very long! The song picks up with full instrumentation but just replays the riff! The vocal is focal point of the song but always seem to stay in the safe zone,,,again ...duplicating the main riff! I think you're on to something but might want to look at some diff progressions to add to this! Too much of the same for me...JMO!
