Rich (Doodle) sent me your way. Awesome! Love the Beatley sounds. Definitely Lennon sounding and the slide is icing on the cake. Like the synthesizer keys sounds very much like Lennon. Your slide is deadon. My brother Jim can play slide I tried once and well I gave up rather quickly. LOL! Nice work. I will be back when I have some more time to check out the rest of your songs.

I just got around to reading a few other comments and Eirik mentioned about Al Stewart vocals. Oh man, he nailed that! Definitely got the sound of Al Stewart ...Funny, until now I never realized how much Al Stewart sounded like, later Lennon:-)

I'm a big Beatle's fan myself. When I saw the Lennon reference I just had to give your music a listen. Oh yes, you've got the more mature mellow Lennon vocals on this song. The guitar work is extremely Harrison flavored...AWESOME! This song is so strong Lennon Harrison sounding, I'd swear this was a lost collaboration between the two. Great work!

the beatles have been a big influence to me as well. I recently watched 'Across the Universe,' a musical movie featuring all beatles music with all kinds of subtle beatle-esq things all through the movie that only beatles far would get, if you haven't seen it check it out. My latest song 'Another Time.' was influenced partially by that film

Nice tracks Steve. I enjoyed everyone of them, especially I Think Of you. You sound more like George to me rather than John. I love the George style guitar slides etc. I'm also a huge Beatles fan, and they influence just about every song I try to write. I haven't written anything for a while now, but pleas have a listen to my earlier efforts, and bear in mind that most of them don't have any real guitars in them, I do everything on keyboards. I think Pupil is my most Beatley track. Please take a listen. All the best. Rob.
