nice take, I'd add some Philippines emotion to it if I were you... and a nice piece to introduce people to classical; curious as to how you did it- electronically I suspect... but with the quality of today's electronic keyboards one never knows if there is a natural instrument or two playing...

Hi jj,
I know i probably sound bitter in my posts on the public forum - but i don't see why we can't speak our minds freely. I suppose the contest is fun and all but SC allows a bunch of drivel to the 2nd round - people singing to karaoke an unimaginatve Band-in-the-Box arrangements. Sorry, I feel that it is a poorly disguised ploy on their part to keep more people interested, ignoring some of the better tunes. BTW, we share a lot of the same musical interests: Bach, Bartok, and Morricone's Cinema paradiso theme is one of my favorites. James.

Hi Jerome, I just wanted to stop by and wish you the best of luck in the Christmas song contest. Your rendition of "Carol of the Bells" sounds really good. I am a huge fan of classical music as well, my favorite period being baroque. Best of luck my friend, take care !!!
