WEBSITES "411": After many BIG events w/several band members, finding it difficult if not impossible to keep all our web offerings updated (as this site reflects). Our Soundclick site will very soon be updated to incl. new songs/updated/remastered, photos, news etc (new CD released 05\03, Local Commotion Pub./Rec., DES Mastering, Self-titled). Our "home" FilthyHabit.com-- If you've been wondering what's up with the old vers. being back online; about two wks after the new site went up, the WITTY WORM phenom. attacked our webhost (among others) & ours was one of the servers / sites randomly deleted by the worm. The old site vers. was the most complete backup & easiest to get back online for now...I've had to change settings & code in new vers. backup b4 I can upload it, since we've made a new home on a new server. it'll be up soon, & will stay there as long as our security software can hold out against this new gen of malicious internet "gangstah-wannabe's". uhgh.. pls check back soon & cross ur fingers 4 FilthyHabit.com!
**FH BAND -News, member updates:
Huge, heavy-hearted sigh...I'm sorry to report that we have currently suspended practice and booking due to some major events in the lives of our ALL our band's members. We've each had some chaotic, devastating, lifechanging stuff happening over the past 9 mos. Having gotten over a big hurdle, I'm going insane without my band at the moment...hard times are never fun, but sometimes yield incredible music; as we are each (in band) finding as we've all been creating individually while going thru our own pvt. hell(s). I've written like MAD lately, many different styles of harder rock/ progr metal. I'm working with Dan Shook (original guitarist) doing some new stuff, and playing live accoustic sets locally. Our Drummer, Jeff Aurand, curr. working weekend night shift--a temp change, but one that makes it diff (impossible) to stay active locally playing live shows.
Our Bass GOD Michale Moore has been going thru some major, TOUGH stuff--our thoughts/prayers/incantations/good vibes, etc. go out to him and to his family...We love u Mike(eeeee), brother!for now, demands of life leave him no time for his passion & first-love: music. He is an incredible songwriter and musician. It's unclear whether he'll return to his spot in FH, and no matter what he decides, we wish him only the very best!! Wherever his path takes him, we'll let u know what he's up to...when he's up to it.
