Good ish, my man... Where'd you get this beat? It's got that old-school, Premo/Pete Rock vibe to it IMO. A couple missteps on the vocals which u already pointed it, but this is nice.

P.S., STILL workin' on my "Revelations" verse. I've got Eminem-type writer's block goin' on LOL!!

see I know what you mean, which is probably why there are so many sub-genres for Hip-Hop, because nowadays its kinda like nothing IS hip-hop, just a substitution.......as for "The Struggle" I'm not against single mothers, I'm against the guys who say their not the father or leave the mother to take care of the child alone ya know? also I more & more "Young Ladies" having babies & then go off complaining about how the father isn't there for them & how hes abandoned them & what not.
i think tha only reason he's defined as that iz cuz they don't call it snap - but that's what tha artists who do it call it. my definition of hip-hop iz words to a beat - so to me it iz hip-hop. if ya look back at tha first well know hip-hop - who coined tha word - sugarhill gang - with "rappers delight" - it was repetative -n- got ppl movin. hip-hop has many branches now - but it all stems from music even older than sugarhill gang - people have been chantin -n- movin to beats throughout time -n- tha history of mankind - why let another cultures idea of intelligence divide it - just b-cuz there are different styles of expression within it?

see I get what your saying, but its the fact thats hes defined as "Hip-Hop" that makes me vexed. music for dancing is good but gangsta music is too redundant & quite annoying. I'm all for evolution, just not de-evolution.
you are very expressive -n- thoughtful for your age - so don't take any of my comments too personal. I was a revolutionary type rhymer in tha early 90's - but i realize tha enemy iz not within hip-hop - but tha enemy iz tryin to divide it - by tryin to categorize what iz real hip-hop -n- such. Save your revolutionary fire -n- angst for tha enemy who wants you to join systamatic oppression by causin shame to those who have rebuked tha system tha most - by survivin almost completely by hustlin -n- pimpin - outside tha power structure. delete my comments after ya read em - cuz i am a serious public enemy.

your makin me think your on tha wrong side of tha revolution on this one - God decides who to create life in - don't ya think tha system -n- society already hates single moms enough?

beat iz hot - i don't like tha topic though - as far as i kno soulja boy iz not industry made - but self made from bein liked by ppl on myspace. why does everyone hate a pimp - who ain't pimpin women - but dancin? there are plenty things more offensive in this society than soulja boy. is far as i kno tha reason alotta ppl like "tha lower form of rap" as you call it - iz b-cuz its more fun to listen -n- dance to music - than listen to everyone bytch about their problems on traxx. Don't get me wrong - mosta my traxx r xactly that - bytchin bout my problems - but i'd rather be makin dance traxx that make ppl feel good -n- wanna move. Im hopin after i get all my bytchin outta my system i can do that. find somethin to celebrate in your music - at least soulja boy celebrates dancin.
