I mean these kind of lines are pretty "known":

it's the only thing that's stayed the same

But those line still do the magic, to me at least.
I love this very jazzy thing, tasteful, pro in each and every aspect. I would, as I say so often, bring the vocs VERY MUCH up front and maybe add some more reverb to really get the scene of a smoky club, populated by the band, the bartender and one or two customers slowly getting drunk and really DIGGING the words of the tune!
