You show great craft in this piece. The muted trumpet is very effective and symbolic. The choral work is excellent. Very good part writing and excellent use of the choir to shift the mood from the bee. I love the shifting modulation of this. It gives since of rising and falling as if one were the bee. Excellent choice of poetry. Bravo Luis!

Bravo Maestro! The ascending melodies in the woodwinds gives a great sense of yearning and desperate hope, so much that of the immigrants that you are writing about. I would gladly pay to hear this performed. This is a piece of monumental beauty that I can only desperately compare to some of the best work of Vaughn-Williams. A real gem. Mis repetos!

Very nostalgic indeed! Great energy and vigor. The trio is nicely balanced and centered in the musical canvas. The oboe counter melody at 1:40 is a great thread in the fabric. Excellent use of the instrument. Good rousing finish.
