This pastiche is as stunning as a 350 lb. schizophrenic headbutt.

That track is probably one of the 3 LIVE (on-the-spot-in-the-studio) tracks I've done (and posted). Just me, my Casio MT-400V (the 1983 large model with the filters), a flat table-top dictation tape recorder, a 60-minute High Bias Chrome cassette, and my huge 4-speaker bass amp, in my nearly empty bedroom (for the extra concert hall effect). No music sheet or lyrics--
I just went for it for 10+ minutes, all improvisation on a overcast late afternoon in July, 1984.
You see, I just brought that keyboard only 2 weeks earlier, and I really wanted to break it in. I DID, and yes, I STILL use that bad boy today. (Most of my new Cosmic Funk Orchestra project, "2087-UNITED PLANETARY FUNK", is being made on it.)

It's actually been updated since you last commented, bro. Those keyboards I've added gives it a Dexter Wansel-type feel.

I like the atmosphere. The lyrics and vocals are trippy. This has a really laid back hypnotic sound. I do like this one!

that was funky, takes me back to the day in meridian hill park, dc police trying to get us to turn down the p-funk (tear the roof off the motha) because the rich folks on 16th street was complainin.
We have somethin in common, I started back in the day (1984)with casio keyboards, commodore 64 midi controller and a I think it was a Roland drum machine, but my tapes got snatched when some folks from Mayfair Mansions decided they like my car better than I did.
I didnt do any material again until my daughter started making and sell beats when she was 13 (2003). I said if she could do it, I might as well try again.
If you get a chance, give me a listen @ http://www.soundclick.com/pocketreference
The latest entry is "Ironhead" a heavy metal take on the new "Ironman" movie, and also "never again" my attempt at r&b.
Holla back, let me know what you think.
