That is excellent Marty! I like the resonant ring you got out of the first strum (and subsequent sustain as well). And the layering of guitars were just right.
I can't wait to see the slide show.

How very wonderful. CELTIC in a way I´d say, Marty, this is awesome.
Outstanding tone and playing.
I am already seeing a movie before my closed eyes. Love and sadness, thoughtful looks back.
Very very well done!

Second the above! Very moving lonesome sound. If I was going to take a long roadtrip by myself, I would want your tunes with me the whole time. Beautiful production, too.

The double mic'ing and serene playing sounds great on this track and creates a nice soundscape!

Hey Marty! Happy Turkey Day--I hope you have a great one.
Thanks for your note. I'm humbled & grateful that you think some of my tunes deserve a place on your hard drive, and I appreciate your note. Most people don't bother, so that makes you a gent in my book.
I'm loving the Exel--just an ace instrument. I've been trying to get my hands around it all morning but she's a bit reluctant to reveal her secrets. Think I'll have to resort to "steel whispering," haha!
Off to prepare for our first winter storm...sigh.
