Thanks everyone. Your comments are appreciated. I actually have been wanting to write this song since 1963, but never thought I could write at all, until 2003, reaching 60 years of age. By the way, we eloped. Emily was just 16 and I was 19. Her dad was a 255 lb South Carolina State Trooper. Either I was in love or stupid :-)
